That's more likely just American fantasy that Xi and Trump will meet in Washington on their June birthdays to iron things out. But where was all of this rage and conscious during the 2018 - 2022 era ? Everything about establishment was halal at that time ? Army Chief was the 'Father of Nation' and anyone talking against Army was 'Ghaddar' according to your own PTI. So why the double standards ? Everyone has dirty hands here. India has begun work to boost reservoir holding capacity at two hydroelectric projects in the India-occupied Kashmir, sources with knowledge of the matter told Reuters, after fresh escalation with Pakistan led it to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty.

Tensions between the two countries have spiked following the April 22 attack in occupied Kashmir’s Pahalgam that killed 26 people, mostly tourists, marking one of the deadliest assaults in the region since 2000. India has implied cross-border links without evidence, while Pakistan vehemently rejected the allegation and called for a neutral probe.

A “reservoir flushing” process to remove sediment began on Thursday, carried out by India’s biggest hydropower company, the state-run NHPC and authorities in the India-occupied Kashmir, the three sources said, according to Reuters.

They spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorised to talk to the media.


The work may not immediately threaten supply to Pakistan, which depends on rivers flowing through India for much of its irrigation and hydropower, but it could eventually be affected if other projects launch similar efforts.

There are more than half a dozen such projects in the region.

India did not inform Pakistan about the work at the Salal and Baglihar projects, which is being done for the first time since they were built in 1987 and 2008-2009, respectively, as the treaty had blocked such work, the sources added.

Actually believe it or not. I was critical of him till 2022. But when I saw the scale of injustices against him in last 3 years that's where all my sympathies turned to him. I also found out to be wrong in critisizing him in so many things. So basically no comparison on any injustices done in 2018 to 2022 to what happened in last 3 yrs. You can tell yourself how much media sensorship is today. Yes it was there in 2018-21 too but not at extreme scale as of now. Same goes for judiciary, all pillars of state are brutally weakened and that all happening with acceptance of your favorite rulers. They shouldn't become a puppet like that. When military offered them govt, they should have declined this powerless govt structure and end this topi drama once and for all. Obviously they came as part of deal, that they will do everything for munir's illegal continued appointment and in return he will make sure to suppress their rivals. They love power. They really don't care about the nation. You know very well the scale of properties and wealth they have amassed outside Pakistan. So, its not about one person. If there would have been any XYZ going through kind of injustices what IK is going through, my sympathies would have been with him automatically.
