That we should develope induct newer versions of hypersonics like Mach 8 Brahmos or Pralaay etc
Do you think about 1000 of each

Be ample to handle both borders

Latest Pralay got 500 orders and older published orders were around 250 so actual numbers will certainly higher that same.
Pinaka production is pretty much public and around 1000 a month …
For hypersonic missiles like 2 DRDO projects and Brahmos 2,
DRdO projects are in testing phases and may b in limited production and Brahmos 2 will start testing in 2+ years…
All in all India is pretty much covered in Surface2Surface, Air2Surface department …
For Air Defence missiles we are pretty decent with local production of
QRSAM. MRSAM(Basically Barak-8 Extended),
Akash MK1/2 and Akash NG,
And we just concluded deal to assemble/manufacture S-400 missile with increases local modules.
Kusha project is progressing well India will start testing of 150 km version by this year only and later progress on 250 km and later 350 km versions.
For ABM we have 4 kinds of Hit2Kill missiles for different type of BM
And right now production of 3 kind of ABM is being done …
ADV, PDV and Anti Sat
Only think lacking is local production of A2A
Astra-MK1 is in serial production, Astra-MK2 in limited production with orders given for mass production and Astra-MK3 in development stage…
Not to forget Rudram 1/2/3 and NGRAAM lethal missile but pretty costly
