The overall coordination and display of many capabilities in this operation aren’t easy for any country. Airdrop of commands by a C-17 appears to be a the most interesting part to me. How many nations have such a capability to deploy airborne troops 2500 kms away from mainland?

Many doctrines and operational philosophies written on paper get a validation through such operations. The lessons learnt, can be employed for bigger and riskier missions in the future.

I see more of such operations by the IN. I don’t know why some people are squirming in their pants and can’t say one good word for this operations.

Chinese military base in Djibouti is a failure & indicative of their fake bravado.
Their much hyped blue water navy has been twiddling thumbs against Houthi and Somalian pirates even with a large base on site. While Indian navy is completing successful missions 2800 km away from the mainland India.

Proves that PLAN still lacks confidence & capability to do anything except bullying smaller & weaker neighbours.

Only other explanation is that they're working with Iranians to ensure that Houthis & other rogue entities keep on needling rest of the world.

San Francisco-based global logistics firm Flexport says historically 90% of cargo shipped from China to Europe would have moved through the Red Sea, but now 90% of that traffic is taking a detour around Africa.

Due to the disruption, ocean freight rates from Shanghai to Europe surged more than 300% between November to January, according to the Shanghai Shipping Exchange – posing a big challenge to Chinese exporters in an already slowing economy.

Why would China target Houthis and get itself involved in an unnecessary mess? We're not Indians.

Best form of conflict deterrence is having no conflict.
