another order for 6 (3+3) more in line

Pls no

We already have
7 Nilgiri class and 3 Talwar class frigates under construction/ under sea trials
Our frigate numbers will rise from 12 in 2024 to 23 in 2028

While destroyer numbers will decline from 12 in 2024 to 10 in 2028

We need to order 6 P75I subs , 12 Minesweepers and 4 P18 Destroyers before we place order for another 6 frigates

IN planning is quite mysterious, P-17s will be workhorse for long range patrolling due to its size & range and you will see it will grow bigger (comparable to P-15A) in size and will be rolled out at greater pace than its previous ones. Whereas Talwar’s will be accompany IAC due to its versatility.

Due to confusion with requirements of IN, latest Destroyers are getting delayed but in another 1-2 years you will see NGD will slowly see the light. As NG P-17s will be larger comparable to P-15s IN planners and not worried much about shortage of firepower for a short term.

P75I & Minesweepers are in line, don't worry IN will get them in much larger quantity than you have quoted above.

The newest Talwar class frigate, INS Tushil to be commissioned in Russia by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. INS Tushil will be the 7th Talwar Class (Krivak III) frigate of the IN.

This and INS Tamala are very unique in the sense that these 2 are built by the Russians and with Ukrainian Engines.

Its same arrangement as previous talwars. Zorya engine (UKR) on russian build.

Only thing that changed was post 2014 relationship between UKR and RUS, as UKR cut off supply of zorya to anything russian to be used by Russia in end. India worked out exception for itself.

Second serious accident in as many weeks involving Indian Navy colliding with civilian craft and causing deaths, worrying trends....

RIP to the civilians.

This is said to be India's new 600T class gantry crane. It is located in the newly built third dry dock of Cochin Shipyard Ltd. in India. It is the largest gantry crane in India at present.

Is there any Indian friend in the know to confirm this news and give details about it?

This is from Hyundai.
The 600T is still a little small. It can be used to build large ships, but the construction efficiency is on the low side. It belongs to the minimum threshold for building large ships.

When Britain was building the Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers, it bought a 1000T-class gantry crane from China, named “Goliath”. It is said to be priced at 130 million CNY (excluding shipping costs). After the UK finished building two aircraft carriers, the gantry crane was basically idle.
A few years ago, there was news that the UK was planning to resell the 1000T-class gantry crane to India. Unexpectedly, India purchased this 600T class gantry crane from Hyundai.
