Bruh please know the basic facts before commenting, India deployed it's ships after attacks in the IOR region including ships with Indian crews. IOR is in India's area of influence, the force projection is to protect India's trade interests in the region. Trade is the single most important thing in this world, wars are fought when that is affected.

India is not sending 10 warships at once. Some will be refuelling, resupplying in friendly ports like Oman/UAE while some will be deployed. Likely 6 ships will be deployed while 4 are restocking at a time. Also, the ships are not meant to attack pirate bases but to prevent pirate attacks which involves large areas of patrolling. In addition, India is likely also containing the random attacks by Yemen on merchant ships

But there are US/UK fleets are also in red sea which are better equipped than your destroyers

You are confusing USN ships with US-flagged/US-bound container ships. No USN destroyer was struck or damaged in Houthi attacks.

USN has shot down a large number of Houthi drones and missiles and have struck multiple Houthi compounds and launch sites. Houthi are unable to launch salvos like in the past.
