Indian Politics and Internal News

Mughals never ruled over the entire Indian subcontinent, which is why Mughal monuments are not found throughout India. This also explains why India remains a majority non-Muslim nation, with its landscape adorned with Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, and Jain temples. The region that is now Pakistan faced significant destruction under Muslim rulers; however, even there, many Hindu and Sikh temples survived due to strong local resistance.
Lol why would there be resistance, in a 96% Muslim majority Pakistan?

Lol what is this nonsense? Mughals ruled most of South Asia.
But since you are an Indian with American flags, at least you have showed your true colours.

It’s as absurd as Pakistanis coloring the Indian map green and declaring it as Pakistan. Where’s the physical evidence of Muslim rule across the entire Indian subcontinent ? History can be conveniently fabricated in books, but that doesn’t make it true.

You moronic Indian. It was the Muslim Mughals who built the Taj Mahal. There are even Arabic inscriptions on the Taj Mahal.

And the Mughals did rule most of the Asian subcontinent. I can't believe you had the guts to come to a Pakistani forum under American flags.

The maps I have posted are done by professional historians from the West. Stop lying about the truth.
Yes the Mughals did not rule all of the Asian subcontinent, but most of it.

Sikh and Hindu kings were fighting against Muslim Afghan invaders in the region that is now Pakistan. local Pakistani Muslims also joined the resistance because the vicious Pathan thugs were abducting Punjabi, Sindhi, and Kashmiri Muslim women and looting the local Muslim population as well.
Oh stop making crap up. I'm a Pakistani Muslim and we are glad we sided with the Afghan Muslims and the Mughals, we want nothing to do with you Hindus.

What is this nonsense coming from an Indian hiding under American flags?
Too ashamed of your true identity I see...

Sorry mate, usually we Muslims side with Muslims. Why would Punjabi and Kashmiri Muslims side with Hindu kings or Sikh kings.

Are you an idiot? Punjabi and Kashmiri Muslims will naturally side with the Afghan and Mughals and Ghurid Sultanate. Where did you imagine that crap up that Pathan and Kashmiri Muslims will side with Hindu and Sikh Kings, lol?

@Pataliputra you keep laughing at my posts with no justification. Then you deserve to be insulted.

@Waz @LeonBlack08 , please take care of @Pataliputra , who is an Indian hiding under American flags. Then he lies about the history of Mughal Empire and the Taj Mahal.

NRIs moving from the US to India: How much salary to expect

That story probably made news only because of its star power. The fact that NRIs from the US are moving back to India is no shocking development. NRIs have, in the last few years, been relocating to India in large numbers, in search of better personal and professional lives. And if you are an NRI considering that move, there is one important thing that you must understand very well: the salary you will get in India.

What types of jobs are there in India for an NRI moving back from America?

Studied Education at IndiaAuthor has 10.3K answers and 6.9M answer views Updated 3y
For an NRI there are all sorts of jobs. However you must understand that India today is not the India of 20 years back. The living standard is much higher but so is the cost of living. Therefore you may want to try to get a better-paying job. :coffee:

I am sure you know that India today is fast developing, and in many ways is in the same league as any other world-class nation. We wanted to leave USA and return but let me tell you what happened to us.

My husband is an IT pro and also has master’s degree in IT for a USA college. Well, we were sure we would get a job in India and he did go to several interviews but bacha mehera (my child), the competition was fierce. There are so many NRIs seeking to return to India. On top of that there are so many Indian-Americanos who also want to go to live there. Then you have those you want to leave UK and Hong Kong so the rush to move back is immense.

So here we are in Singapore. We were desperate to leave USA and we are glad we made the move. But we were not able to go to India. Perhaps when we retire as retirement age is not far off.

Today in India our friends own flats that are far better than most of our friends in USA. Slums are quickly being bulldozed to make way for new gleaming shopping centers as well as modern houses and condos.

As for jobs, IT is great but the competition is fierce. Same with finance. Also finance they say is a disappearing field due to defi as well as automation.

Then you have R&D. This is an excellent area due to Indian companies growing quickly as well as foreign companies expanding into India left and right.

Of course all this will depend upon you and your background but beware that as living standards are high so are costs. Also nowadays to get USD$100,000 annual pay is not so uncommon. The jobs hubby interviewed for were all in the $70,000 to $120,000 range.

When you look for a place to stay now with the new metros and monorails running you can be more flexible in where to live. Taking Mumbai as an example, you don’t have to be right in the center any more.

Just remember that competition for any decent job is fierce and that is why you have so many Youtubers now making a living that way.

I hope this has helped you and Jai Hind!

Not much point moving back if you're well settled in a nice western (or even east Asian) country and have been so for a while.

Unless... one gets a super "package" (cringe corpo speak for money) proper CEO-CTO, director of India operations, or whatever.. get a big German car and fancy asz house, skorti detail.. mallab, phull lugzary life !

or, one already made good bank there, and now want to start something back home in India with all the monies.. in which case again, big Zerman car, fancy asz house and living and that sort of xhit is taken care of.

In case you dropped kids abroad, fir toh bhool hi jao, It'd be near impossible for a young tween or teen who only seen life out in the west to adzust to desi culture..

Common story, but I also know a guy who came back, oil and gas guy, Austin Texas to New Delhi, got the highrise penthouse with privat pool and big Zerman car, the works.. hobnob with Lutyens political folk, full..

He was so happy, he had arrived... but his kids and wife drove him insane, bhai wapas chala gaya

Most educated/ high paid Indian professionals don't want to go back to India and the reasons I already told to Ajay Ghattak:

Massive over crowding
Pollution of both air and ground water
Crime
Lack of amenities/ infrastructure
Massive inflation
Budtameez/ insensitive corporate culture
Caste politics/ bigotry
Unpredictable future for kids due to above

The list is long!

It is dirty and chaotic, even if you being driven around in a Bentley and have a helipad on your building and see a golf course out your 42nd floor penthouse.

A lot of people are returning to India these days—I meet them regularly. I myself came back after leaving a successful career in the UK. In fact, at least 30% of the Indians from my batch have returned, and many are building incredible ventures. They didn’t come back due to a lack of opportunities in the West; they left highly lucrative jobs to return.

One of my batchmates now runs a commenting platform that’s featured on almost all major media and newspaper websites across South Asia. Another batchmate has built an A/B testing platform based out of Pune that’s used by leading Western MNCs, outperforming even Google’s own solution, all without ever taking external funding. Another friend from my batch, she runs a popular VC-funded online marketplace for ethnic wear. The list of success stories is endless.

India today offers unparalleled opportunities for anyone who is enterprising and dreams of achieving more than just a comfortable career in the West. Those willing to take risks and innovate are thriving in this dynamic environment.

Of course, for those who just want a safe “phoren” job and come from backgrounds with little appetite for risk-taking, middle-tier management roles in the West are a comfortable choice. And then, there’s the elite segment of Indians who excel internationally in top positions. Nothing wrong with either path—it’s just a matter of ambition and priorities.
