@UKBengali

Hopefully Indians won’t chest thump

Sadly, they will

and realise that at best they will reach upper middle income by mid-century and stay at that level.

Even that will be a bit of a stretch and lots of luck

Regards

I think Gujarat and southern states can reach high income by 2050 and the laggards in the north can just about get to middle income status.

Want to wish the best for India.

Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of India. It is the religion of humanity. The process of worship can be different. But religion is one and that religion is Sanatan Dharma. Kumbh is the representative of that Sanatan Dharma," Yogi Adityanath said

New Delhi:
Mahakumbh -- the massive ongoing religious event at Prayagraj, the erstwhile Allahabad -- is not meant for any single caste or religion, it is the great melting pot of all religion, culture and creed, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said today, adding in this context that "Sanatan Dharma" is the "national religion".

"I used the same words earlier also," he told NDTV's Editor-in-Chief Sanjay Pugalia in an exclusive interview that was part of the channel's Maha Kumbh Samvaad.

"Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of India. It is the religion of humanity. The process of worship can be different. But religion is one and that religion is Sanatan Dharma. Kumbh is the representative of that Sanatan Dharma," added the saffron-robed Chief Minister, who also heads a key shrine of the state.

Calling the four-year event a "Maha Parv", he said, "You must have seen on January 14, Makar Sankranti, nearly six crore devotees took a dip at the Sangam".

Sangam is the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and once, the Saraswati, at Prayagraj, considered one of the holiest spots in the country.

"This message of unity was given by Maha Kumbh. There was no discrimination. People who used to criticise Sanatan Dharma, we say come see this. Do not be Dhritarashtra, come see it yourself," he added.

Uttar Pradesh is hosting the largest religious gathering on the world, which started on January 13 and will continue till February 26. The ongoing Maha Kumbh has crossed the 10-crore milestone for pilgrims taking a dip at the Triveni Sangam.

The number looks good. In Pakistan PMLN daily sells good economic numbers...but what is ground reality?

In here, Delusional folks prefer Bollywood type stories.

Reality is that his people will go in other states to work as labourers, Watchmen, drivers, paani poori sellers. Nothing will change.

Western and Southern India will send their revenues to feed his state.

Is the claim true?: No, the claim is false.

  • The footage is from China's Cili County in the Hunan Province and not Haridwar-Karnaprayag train route.

What we found: At first, we divided the video into multiple screenshots and ran a Google reverse image on some of them.

  • We came across a similar clip on People's Daily Facebook page. It was uploaded on 16 October 2024 and featured the same visuals as the viral video.
  • The caption of the post read, "Tunnel after tunnel, a moving train passes through the mountainous landscape, unfolding a beautiful sight in Cili County, central China's Hunan Province. #BeautifulChina" (sic.)

  • We compared both the frames and found some similarities.

Social networking has become cesspool of fake news. Most 'information' you get from them is disinformation.

When many cultures were only nomadic forest dwellers over 5000 years ago, Indians established Harappan culture in Sindhu Valley (Indus Valley Civilization)
This is one fact.

The name 'India' is derived from the River Indus,
This is a separate and totally unconnected fact.

he valleys around which were the home of the early settlers.
That is one location among several others. It was not the main location of the steppe migrants. Those migrants did settle in a series of valleys, but those were on the slopes of the highlands between India and Afghanistan, and later, in the Punjab plains.

The IVC was located in a huge area, a large flood-plain, and not a set of valleys. Its ruins overlapped with the villages and towns of the migrants.

I fear not. MH can do it, followed by KA. Then TN/GJ. UP is far behind. Improve health and education, then industrialize.

Hopefully Indians won’t chest thump and realise that at best they will reach upper middle income by mid-century and stay at that level.

The high performing states cannot lift up the populous laggards in Northern India.

Your concern for India is duly noted even if half of what you claim is nonsense.

Upper middle income country by 2050 is amazing. India doesn't need more.

Also, there is real growth and there is nominal growth.

Difficult to reach in 4 years, but its definitely moving fast , infra growth in west UP is tremendous.

This fiscals growth will increase further with domestic tourism boost of Kumbh.

If UP grows India Grows !
