Decades of hard work is now showing colors.... slowly and steadily everything will be achieved including any generation fighter jets engines at home.... congratulations to India and our team of all engineers, workers who achieved this milestone....
Lmao just scroll through the comments once ๐Ÿ˜ญ Forget the 48.5 kN dry thrust for a minute. I'm more impressed by the amount of turbine metallurgy expertise that magically appeared next door overnight ๐Ÿ˜‚

These guys are analysing alloys, engine life and whatnot. I mean your own flagship steel mill has been sitting dead for years and your govt is still talking about reviving it, yet somehow you've completely jumped over everything in between entire staircase from basic integrated steelmaking straight to judging nickel superalloys and jet engine metallurgy ๐Ÿ˜‚

At least get the bloody furnace running first, man. Then we'll sit down and discuss turbine blades ๐Ÿ˜ญ

It's basically a guy standing outside his closed dhaba, stove hasn't worked in years, shouting through the window of a Michelin kitchen that their heat treatment isn't good enough ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yes, we know this facinating piece of technology has been under development long before you were even concievedView attachment 217468 .

Good to know that after 4+ Decades, you can finally fit a Chinese-made camera on toy & fit it with this awesome "dry" engine - and call it a UCAV.
Probably , they will be rebuilding the engine after every 20 hours of flying.
