Indonesian Army/Marine/Police Paramilitary

Beautiful. Good too see Indonesia getting better and better in manufacturing of weapons.
That is from a private sector company

But it looks like Pindad AM1 (M416 design) that will likely be produced in mass. Not because it is a state owned company, but Armed Force is satisfied with Pindad rifle as we can see when Army wins many competition in Australia and South East Asia shooting competition, they use Pindad rifle

Indonesian army reserve. Prabowo as Defense Minister has initiated that Indonesian Army should have reserve component since he becomes Defense Minister.

This reserve is made for new capital in Kalimantan. As far as I know previously Armed Force wants to add their active professional army around 50,000 personnel, but of course it is lot cheaper by using reserve, maybe later if defense budget get increased, we can instead add more professional army personnel

I've seen it carry assault rifles, howitzers, grenades, etc. This is the first time I've seen it with a machine gun.

I want to emphasize not its origin, but the machine gun it carries.
It was the first time I saw it carrying a machine gun. It is hard to imagine how it could remain stable under the strong recoil influence of a machine gun.

There are no Chinese small drones seen carrying machine guns, they usually carry assault rifles. Robot dogs can carry machine guns.

The first ever joint Russian-Indonesian naval exercises, Orruda 2024, have kicked off in Surabaya. The opening ceremony was attended by Indonesian Navy Commander-in-Chief Vice-Admiral Denih Hendrata and Commander of the Primorsky Flotilla of the Russian Pacific Fleet's mixed forces, Rear Admiral Alexey Sysuyev.
Ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet, the corvettes Gromkiy, Rezkiy, and Geroy Rossiyskoy Federatsii Aldar Tsydenzhapov, as well as the support vessel Pechenga, have arrived in Indonesia. The naval exercises will be held in the Java Sea near the Indonesian city of Surabaya, east of the capital Jakarta, from November 4 to 8.
The Orruda 2024 exercises include two main stages: a base port stage, which will be held in Surabaya, and a sea stage, which will be held in the Java Sea. An initiative to hold similar exercises every two years is currently being considered.

An episode of the second stage of the Russian-Indonesian naval exercises "Orruda-2024" in the Java Sea. Russia used the Pacific Fleet corvettes "Gromkiy", "Rezkiy", "Geroy Rossiyskoy Federatsii Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and the medium sea tanker "Pechenga". The Indonesian Navy used the frigate Gusti Ngurah Rai 332 and the corvette Frans Kaisiepo 368. The ships' crews maneuvered and trained in communications using all types of signaling. After practicing interaction, the crews practiced inspection actions of suspicious vessels, blocking and releasing a vessel detected conditionally captured by "terrorists". They also trained to counter unmanned boats with firing from automatic artillery mounts and small arms. After completing the firing, they conducted rescue training at sea.

Jakarta. Armed Forces Commander General Agus Subiyanto has announced a major reshuffle involving around 300 high-ranking military officers across various government agencies, Antara reported on Monday.

The reshuffle includes officers stationed at military headquarters, the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the National Cyber and Encryption Agency (BSSN), the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), government ministries, and the University of Defense.

One of the most prominent changes is the appointment of Lieutenant General Mohammad Fadjar as the commander of the Army’s Strategic Reserve Command (Kostrad). He replaces Lieutenant General Mohamad Hasan, who now assumes command of the Army’s Doctrine, Education, and Training Development Command in Bandung.

Major General Achiruddin, formerly the commander of the Mulawarman Regional Command overseeing Kalimantan provinces, has been appointed as the new commander of the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres). His previous position has been filled by Major General Rudy Rachmat Nugraha.

Lieutenant General Nugroho Sulistyo Budi has been appointed as the head of BSSN, while Military Academy Governor Sidharta Wishu Graha has been promoted to senior inspector at BIN. Both appointments require a presidential decree.

Brigadier General Arnold Aristoteles Paplapna Ritiauw will take over as the new governor of the Military Academy.

Several army generals have also been assigned as inspector generals at various government ministries. These include Major General Maryono at the Transportation Ministry and Major General Irham Waroihan at the Agriculture Ministry.
