GOYANG (Korea) - The upset alert was alarmed, but it only woke Korea up to avoid an upset by Indonesia, 86-78.

With each team taking turns controlling the lead in each quarter, the game was in a sense a back-and-forth contest - even if the lead switched hands only three times. Indonesia controlled the first quarter before Korea got back in the lead in the second quarter.

Basically we use many Indo Dutch players for the national team. This is the policy hold by our soccer Chief despite we can beat South Korea and go to Semi Final Asia Cup Under 23 with few naturalized Indo-Dutch players.

14 Teams will compete in IBL in January 2025​

Indonesia Basketball League (IBL) will be held again on January 11, 2025 with 14 teams.

IBL Director Junas Miradiarsyah stated that the IBL season 2025 will return to use the format of the competition as before.

"IBL 30 days from now will start with the same concept, home away," said Junas Miradiarsyah in a press conference in KYZN, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday (12/12).

For IBL 2025, it will begin on January 11, 2025. Junas also informed the teams had prepared and ready to do the match.


"14 teams are already preparing for next season," Junas said.


"If in terms of the rules it does not change much even said nothing changes except developments. With the development of the IBL in recent years we have reached the point we want," he added.

Furthermore, Junas highlighted the transfer market or player recruitment activity by the clubs. According to him, the 2025 season will be the highest record for player turnover.


“The interesting thing is that the player’s market indicator. Every year I B.S. received a good response. This year's record highs. This year it has been 39 local player are exchanged (changing clubs) in Indonesia," he said.


As is known, in the IBL 2024, the Pelita Jaya team managed to come out as the winner. Pelita Jaya managed Satria Muda in the final round. (Ndf/P-3)
