His wife claims he’s ok. I still need to see current pictures.
And I agree:

I think the new Pezeshkian government further made Iran dovish. Personally, I’m convinced Raisi was assassinated to help IsraelCorrect to both of you!
Much like the General standing in an irrelevant section of the Isfahan airbase and claiming nothing happened in April 2024, satellite photos proved that false. The same can happen in this case if Iran is not forthcoming.
The hallmark bad communications policy continues.
The issue is why would Iran, that is smart enough to know the cat will eventually come out of the bag hide this case as well?
One could say embarrassment, although most countries would seize on this to penalize the opponent in some fashion with UN articles of defense backing them (ie US after Benghazi consulate attack).
The more likely answer is a red line was set by a incompetent individual (General Salami) post April 2024 attack and now Iran has to enforce it. This individual lacks foresight and expertise in communication policy. Now, Iran for whatever reason does not want to enforce this red line.
These are two violations of the ‘Salami redline’ that have gone without enforcement (Assassination in Tehran being the first)
Attacking diplomats is unheard of and is declaration of war. Even ISIS which captured Turkish Diplomats in Mosul back in their peak power didn’t harm them. It knew that would bring the full wrath of Turkey upon their heads at a time it had enough on its plate (and somewhat cordial relations with Turkey).
Unfortunately, Iran has set precedent not following thru with revenge on its harmed diplomats (see Taliban execution of Iranian diplomats and their family in late 1990s).
If Iran fails to respond, the next attack will be even more brazen and likely on Iranian soil.
P.S. when was the last time Hajizadeh was seen in public #WhereIsHajizadeh
No the problem was selecting the incompetent intelligence minister againI think the new Pezeshkian government further made Iran dovish. Personally, I’m convinced Raisi was assassinated to help Israel
Let say they are right which I doubt .No This has been denied by Iranian news agencies
That’s part of the problem too, but current government is dovish as well. Iran needs likes of Ahmadinejad right nowNo the problem was selecting the incompetent intelligence minister again

Who selected him?No the problem was selecting the incompetent intelligence minister again
No doubt Iran is infected. Now this particular vector might be burnt but there are others. Couple that with Iran’s ostensibly sloppy protocols…well you get the picture. The fact that nothing exploded in Iran it shows that Lebanese operation of modified electronic devices was done in a level of Lebanon customs and it was not done in the known manufacturer as massmedia said.
Likely modified devices were build in Israel, and changed the original batch by the Israe-made by bribed officials in Lebanese customs.
So Iran even using the same brand of walkie talkies is not affected.
