If this is all about a pipeline only, what's Pakistan doing there.
I never said it was "only" about pipelines!

If we have to attack a saudi oil facility because the US/Israel attacked an Iranian one will this pact be activated? They just sign it today, they haven't even back to their own countries and you guys are fearing that Iran will get attacked, why? Also Iran will not be attacked by the Alliance. KSA might hit Iran because of Iran's attack on USA/KSA military bases, but this PACT initially will be used against a threat almost all 3 countries face, Terrorism. Pakistan from Taliban/BLA types, Turkish from PKK/YPG/ISIS types, and KSA from Houthis.
Yeah I dont think any of these states are interested in a war with Iran. As long as we are able to use energy facilities around the persian gulf as leverage against an Israeli/American attack it doesn't matter what our friends here do.You think Saudi Arabia can prop up itself and 2 other countries economically during a war? Doubtful.
- Pakistan is bankrupt and lives loan to loan
- Turkey’s currency is worthless like toliet paper
- Saudi Arabia’s entire income comes from a product Iran can readily destroy in the country.
Saudi’s interest is growing economically and staying away from war. It doesn’t want to be entangled in war and be destroyed like Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya.
MBS would be committing a big mistake by trying to get into a war with Iran when Israel/US with all their intel and firepower couldn’t overwhelm Iran then Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia won’t be able to either.
Again, today (few hrs ago) they signed, no one knows the full details of the PACT, and Pakistan and Turkiye both show no apetite of getting involved in the Iranian war, which may even wrap up soon, plus KSA can bomb Iran on their own if they want to, they have plenty of F-15's and EFT and Tornado's for that, plus Iran will not be putting itself in a position where it drag KSA into this war, you already have America to deal with, and Israel which is ready to pounce... so maybe try not to make enemy out of everyone in the region. If we have to attack a saudi oil facility because the US/Israel attacked an Iranian one will this pact be activated?
We have no interest in making everyone an enemy. But when a superpower attacks you, you have to use its interest in the region as leverage against it. The only way for a weaker country to defeat a stronger country is by going crazy. Lets hope for everyone's sake this war wraps up soon.Again, today (few hrs ago) they signed, no one knows the full details of the PACT, and Pakistan and Turkiye both show no apetite of getting involved in the Iranian war, which may even wrap up soon, plus KSA can bomb Iran on their own if they want to, they have plenty of F-15's and EFT and Tornado's for that, plus Iran will not be putting itself in a position where it drag KSA into this war, you already have America to deal with, and Israel which is ready to pounce... so maybe try not to make enemy out of everyone in the region.

Which Iran used, Everyone knows that if US attacked Iran they will hit American bases in Gulf, Iran doesn't have capability to hit US mainland, if they somehow did then only God can help Iran with what will happen next. Despite my disagreements over Gulf's role in this whole mess which start with Palestinian Genocide, I have to give them credit that they have kept themselves out of this war for the most part, we had some UAEAF strikes over Iran but they were only few, other than that KSA/Kuwait/Bahrain/Iraq has not officially enter wars with Iran regardless of what ultra-nationalists here say, which is a good thing, Israel was hoping for a larger regional war that Arabs/Persians start killing each other, 2 birds with 1 stones and they succeeded to some extent, as gulf economies were doing good, and with this war several countries have major set backs, Iran on the other hand is fighting for its survival, and doesn't matter if you like or not, even if war stops tomorrow and no more ceasefire violation happens, and peace prevails, it will take 1-2 decades for Iran to rebuild all its military bases, missiles bases, industries and port that were bombed. Region needs peace, uninterrupted and complete peace so poor people can finally start rebuilding and struggling economies can recover (Pakistan & India). We have no interest in making everyone an enemy. Iraq will not be safe for saudi pipeline for obvious reason. Jordan is more suitable. Both pathways are logically viable? Comes down to geography of course. Makes more sense via Iraq, given how big the oil industry is there and how Iraq will want to build its own pipeline and the ability of Iraq to quickly repair etc given its existing industrial base.
Lots of people are asking which enemy this PACT is against, I give you a threat which is faced by every country, aka Terrorism/insurgency, and it feels like you are mad that they didn't name Iran as primary enemy of this PACT?None of those groups are gonna be deterred from this deal. Because insurgents by nature don’t care about these toothless deals will fight till the last man.
Houthis are Terrorists for many, so it doesn't matter what you or other nationalist Iranians call who what, One mans Terrorist is other's freedom fighter... you support Hez/Houthis which you call them freedom fighters but many in Yemen/Lebanon call them terrorists, maybe for you they are not so its subjective. No one can take a moral highground here because all of y'all have long list of fcuk up's that y'all did in the region, and yes that include Pakistan. Also Houthi’s aren’t terrorist. Only a moron would think you could label Houthi’s (who Saudi Arabia has allied with multiple times in the past) terrorists after Saudi Arabia has committed genocide in Yemen and kept the country on an blockade just because it’s preferred puppet government is not in power in Yemen.
I will let a Saudi or Yemeni answer that, I am not well versed on this civil war.Saudi Arabia could easily end its conflict with Houthis by lifting the blockade and not interfering in the Yemen’s affairs. Saudi Arabia wants its cake and eat it too. Wants to interfere in countries affairs anywhere in the Middle East and Africa, then cry when Iran does the same in the region (ie Syria, Lebanon, Iraq).
Like i said, no one can/will take a moral highground, you can call them hypocrits and they can call you hypocrits too, but the point is that this PACT is not against Iran, and no amount of self-victimization will change that, KSA is equipped to bomb Iran, as Iran has very limited AD left and American fighters have easy time flying over Iranian air space, Iran has mostly downed drones, and few fighter jets but given the amount of sorties they flew over Iran its negligble.Arabs and Turks are acting like hypocrites. They sat and criticized Iran and said Iran is interfering in countries affairs then spent the next several years doing the same exact same thing! Turkey is in Iraq and Syria. Saudi Arabia and UAE are sowing chaos in Yemen and African continent. Fueling conflicts everywhere they go.
Everyone wants to be the macho of the region, use the sectarianism to push proxies, KSA did that, Iran did it, while there is infighting among Muslims the other take advantage of this situation. Region is too divided, some PACTS will not bring a lasting peace, but it will be a good start towards something rather than blame games, and calling each other hypocrits. This is the main problem in Middle East today. Too much countries are trying to be a hegemony. Add in Israel and you will see why the region is headed to disaster.

And people blame Egypt for not joining this crazy pact. You think Saudi Arabia can prop up itself and 2 other countries economically during a war? Doubtful.
