Libya, Sudan were stable, but they were first destroyed by the US through sanctions and then they gave money to puppets and terrorists groups to forever destabilize those countries. I always chuckle when you hear trump or other western leaders say Iran needs democracy, but funnily they never mention that about Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Morocco etc which are dictatorships allied to the US. The world doesn’t need a policeman, what the world needs powerful and technologically developed countries such as China Japan etc to invest in capital projects and provide technical skills in developing countries so those countries can develop economically. That is why China’s belt and road initiative was and is such a great initiative. Chinese companies invest in capital projects like power plants, ports, water desalination projects etc which will provide steady but low positive returns over decades (not a quick profit that western private companies and investors expect). This in turn allows Chinese and other private companies to build factories which create jobs, allows the local population to gain technical skills, develop as a society and country. You know western countries should be supporting this as this creates less migrants to go Europe US etc but not surprisingly they were first claiming that China was causing African and Asian countries into “debt trap”
