Duh thats why i said they would only consider it if Israel starts nuking countries first. If country A gives nukes to country B and country B uses it. Country A will also be hit with retaliation with nukes thats why no one gives any away unless there is no choice.

It's looking like they'll release these reserves and if Democrats win House/Senate or both the prices will go down for a brief period. To suistain the pressure Iran would have to continue strikes on oil tankers throughout the remainder of the month.

But keep in mind behind the scenes both parties are talking. They could announce a deal by mid terms. I'm personally not seeing more escalation.

Someone (companies) will have to buy those barrels and return them back to SPR. Who is going to take ownership of 17MBPD (or any amount) with oil above $100?

Also commercial oil inventories are still adequate it’s a refined fuel problem. Releasing more oil will do nothing to lower diesel or gasoline prices.

Yea..we are seeing that Iran is too large, well positioned and resourced - materially and human wise, to actually be suffocated economically, and that definitely won't happen now because of US's weakened overall economic power- it takes a huge, robust, strong and resilient economy today to economically oppress a regional power like Iran. US is also in a weaker position because it has foster mooching vassals like Israel and Ukraine to sustain-, they have to be furnished with billions and billions of $ just to stay afloat..US doesnt have all that money to give ,afterall it didn't earn/get it freely in the first place.
