Turns out the video that claimed to show Israel’s attack plan was fake news [not shocking]



Given the sat imagery so far points to small PGMs/Drones. Seems highly unlikely that Israel fired a large amount of air launched BMs since we don’t have a single impact crater on satellite imagery yet.

Did not the 3-4 ALBMs fail in April attack and they got success with a quadcopter attack on the S-300 radar that damaged it?

That Khamenei himself had ordered it.

Everyone is talking about it. But if you dig deeper, there’s no confirmation at all. The single source is an NYT report that itself is based on unnamed sources.

As someone with insight into how media works, I can’t help but ask. Has Khamenei actually spoken of this massive retaliation, on record? If not, why these speculative reports, and why now? Why are they beating the drums for war?

To me it looks like an attempt to paint Iran into a corner. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

If that can be regraded as an official statement of intent, that means that Iran has committed to a course of action - publicly.

I’m surprised it has done that, because now there’s no degree of freedom left. Iran has to go ahead with a massive attack, or risk losing face.

Things are moving forward in a predictable way, possibly as planned, for a larger confrontation between Iran and Israel, and maybe the US.

I mean think about it: the escalation ladder will eventually lead to the destruction of some Iranian infrastructure to which Iran has no choice but to respond by destroying Israel's vital infrastructure. But Israel is tiny and that means an existential threat to their state. Now, will Israel use nukes if its very existence is threatened? I think so.

Look at what Europe is doing: Europe has already banned major Iranian airlines from flying over Europe due to a claim that they have absolutely no evidence to support it (Iran selling ballistic missiles to Russia). One month after they have sanctioned Iranian airlines, there is still no evidence of Russia using Iranian ballistic missiles, or even possessing them.
Add to that the recent claim by Zelensky that Iran is considering to send Iranian soldiers to the war in Ukraine. Again, a claim with zero evidence. Polish MP (right-wing MP who is known for his dislike of Jews) in the EU talked about the possibility of a false flag operation in Europe blamed on Iran to drag Europe into a war with Iran.
Add to that the recent move by Germany over a dual-citizen terrorist who was responsible for several bombing operations inside Iran.
Add to that the EU recent statement on Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf, calling Iranian an occupier of those islands.

Meanwhile, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Iran openly said that Europe is no longer considering our security red lines and we should no longer consider their security red lines. If you think about all of these signs, something bigger than what we know now is on the verge of unfolding and it has the potential of being uglier than we think now.
