Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I disagree with that. Damage to the Ghadir OTH radar looks severe enough to make it non-operational. I think Khamenei said it the best that their attack should not be exaggerated, nor underestimated.

I take your point but what they tried to achieve was way more destructive.

As regards that radar, did Iran have something like Pantsir at the site as it looks like a system such as this would have been capable of shooting down the cruise missiles used to destroy that building and damage the other.
There coud be a very good lesson for Iran here and that may already be implemented around similar sites by now.

Maybe my choice of words was not the best but the evidence is that they achieved around 5-10% of what they intended and that is a promising sign of Iranian IADS capability.

My point is that Iranian IADS is exposed in wartime mode. I hope you understand electromagnetic spectrum is exposed. now Entity has a correlated data. I am sure different sets of ECM/ESM already in placed.

so there next strike would far far more destructive. same goes to Iran as well. they have learned the war modes as well - its very very fluid. its about who learns fast and implement it.

What worries me is that their plan is pretty much textbook and predictable.

Iran's problem is that we have neglected IRIAF for too long and we can now see why it was a bad idea.
We do not have airborne radars to cover radar blind spots which is lethal for a country the size of Iran with mountainous terrain. We have too many blind spots that can be exploited when they launch cruise missiles. That's why Iran has invested in OTH radars, to cover those blind spots without investing in the IRIAF.
We had one Ilyushin-76 that we used as AWACS and it crashed years ago. IRIAF does not seem capable of intercepting cruise missiles or at least it has not shown such capability so far. So, we are limited to radars on the ground. Now they have severely damaged one of our 3D OTH radars. I'm sure you can see why they have done this.

There is an obvious demage but no where near what a 100Kg or 250KG ALBM will cause....its obviously a very small and light weight impact....similiar to what Iranians did with their unloaded ballistic missiles.

Yeah, there is no visible crater to suggest it was an ALBM but the damage looks severe enough. I mean one building looks completely destroyed and the other one is almost destroyed as well.

Unloaded ballistic missile?
