As long as there is an Israel, acting like an imperial dagger in the heart of the Middle East, all regional nations are at the mercy of the policies of the remote powers' policies. What if there is some major discovery in the eastern Mediterranean Sea which would fall under Turkey's exploration rights but the foreign powers wouldn't see it like that and start tightening screws on Turkey using the local attack dog?

If that was the case then this would've been the perfect time to send hundreds of missiles, especially older ones that would normally be intercepted, to do maximum damage. By waiting, you are only giving them time to replenish their AD stocks and receive more shipments from the west. Withholding strikes now makes no sense if they are truly depleted with their AD.

100s of missiles not possible. In such compromised command of Iran its difficult to assemble or launch so many missiles without revealing location to IDF or saboteurs.

Iran firing missiles in this rate is not bad IDF is pinned down in many sectors of war.
