That is absurd. Such an action is a huge undertaking and will need a Congressional approval which will never come unless Iran attacks first and causes significant damage. Look back at the 1990 Iraq war. It took more than 6 months between Kuwait attack and Iraq war.

US doesn't need to declare war; it can ramp up the intel, logistics, and weapons to Israel to do the job. Basically, what it has been doing all long but ramped up. Biden administration was opposed to targeting nuclear assets but Trump will not be.

I think the time has passed for that. Iran has recently proven that it's a much harder nut to crack than anybody thought.

The only way to destory Iran's nuclear facilities will require a nuclear strike which will cause catastrophic destruction in the region and a fall of the world economy. Oil flows will stop, stock markets will collapse, there will be nuclear radiation etc.

Any capability consists of hardware and people. You can protect the hardware all day long but people live above ground and have a family life. Israel/US will go after anyone who is useful to the Iranian nuclear capability.

What people need to realize is that the biggest weakness of the US is actually the stock market. The vast bulk of the wealth of rich Americans is invested in stocks. Stocks, in turn, are overvalued. For example, Testa's market cap today is $904 billion while the biggest car company, Toyota is worth only $230 billion. Obviously, Tesla is overpriced. The stock market is a Ponzi scheme.

Anything that crashes the stock market will result in every rich American losing a big chunk of their wealth. Therefore, if a war runs a risk of causing a stock market crash they will never do it.

all those US allies are broke, unequipped and unmotivated- they only move if US moves, and they know US is getting tired- it just is and its not "succeeding" anywhere militarily, except maybe against minor terrorist groups here and there.

Germany, France, UK barely supported US in confronting the Houthis and soon ran back to Europe- there is no or weak signs they would engage in a serious fight with Iran without at least Iran attacking them first.

Sadly, destroying Iran's nuclear capability is one of the strongest points of agreement between Israel, US, Europe, and the GCC.

Yes, that's the option of last resort. If Iran is going down then it needs to be prepared to take all its adversaries down with it. Iran's Samson Option. By Iran going down I mean suffering a regime change and getting a Reza Shah installed in power.

They have to send B-1's and B-2's first from U.S. or Diego Garcia in Indian ocean or bases in U.K. That requires positioning, refueling, proper ammunition - all requiring planning, co-ordination, logistics. The House, the Senate, and the Supreme Court are all now Republican.

The Republicans with Trump in power dare not go against him. The few that did are likely to be destroyed once he comes back into office.

There are few times in recent times where all pillars of power in the USA belonged to one party. And never before has one party pledged so much allegiance to one individual.

Republicans just won the majority in congress where each Republican has an AIPAC handler. If Israel wants a war with Iran it won't be hard to get congress support now. I wouldn't put a false flag operation beneath them either.

Iran is cooked either way if they don't strike the economic pressure will become too great. At least if they strike they can get some support from the anti-Israel factions in the region.

I am fully aware of the Draconian measures of the Zionist regime against Palestinians (not only in Gaza but also in the West Bank, but even more so in the Gaza Strip) but October 7th was purely an offense by Hamas without a well-planned strategy.

Their entire plan collapsed after day 4. What did Hamas achieve with this? One would argue that Hamas put the agenda of a Palestinian state in news headlines and stopped the propagation of normalization of Arab relations with Israel. But then again, we all know that Arab rulers are shameless and now that Trump is back, many of them will move ahead with the Abraham Accords.

October 7th weakened the resistance against Israel and allowed Israel to do ethnic cleansing and genocide openly.

It's not what Hamas did , it's the barbaric and sickening things the Israelis did with the US that is the main issue. They stooped to the lowest of the low not since seen the medieval times. World focus should be on Israeli actions , don't try to distract. Primary focus of the world should be DeNazify Israel as the utmost urgency. Better to be bargained for Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon & Gaza to pre-Oct 7, 2023 position and opening of humanitarian aid throughout Gaza and Lebanon.

Israel is not in a position to bargain anything. Complete sanctions and trade and arms embargo and forced DeNazification should be the goal. The Israeli Jews need to be re-educated to filter out the extreme hatred they have for other races.

Israel is very reliant on a small number of large power plants and desalination plants, which tend to be paired together in the same locations (even next to each other).

Israel moved most of its petrochemical factories to the Negev (away from Haifa for fear of Hezbollah rockets), this is another large soft target for Iran that is also away from Tel Aviv and less well defended, and will create massive fires if hit (even by drones/cruise missiles).

5th round of escalation:

then Dimona and the surrounding facilities if they hit Iran's nuclear facilities. some of these are built deep underground, which will be difficult for Iran to hit, but plenty aboveground as well.

final round of escalation (all out war):

and then direct attacks on cities (Tel Aviv / Tehran) causing mass damage and casualties is the final level of escalation.

because currently, US and Israel dont have sufficient quantities of air defense interceptors to handle TP3's barrages.

I need to see some drones flying in TP3- drones are still underrated in their military effectiveness in modern warfare- they relatively cheap, pose little risk to whoever fired them, can hit locations precisely, dont threaten life, makes enemy AD systems take vacation (absent when needed to intercept them).

If Iran floods Israel with 500 Arash-2s hitting vital sites, i bet you Israel and useless Jordan will only intercept 20% of them. Dont ask Ukraine what its interception rate of Gerani- 2s is, just read objective information online and find out the damage they have done to Ukraine.

There could be regime change in Jordan, the Jordanian masses want change and the present monarcy would last long. It's also surprising to see the Egytpians as Muslims sitting there watching the slaughter next to them. No real Muslim wouldn't move for action when their neighbor is attacked.

not exactly true. they control a large part of the border regions within 2-3km radius from the border and have penetrated deeper than that (without capturing a major town or establishing control)
