Usually there's a cold test first (electronics, casing, timers, etc) which nobody can detect. If that is successful, then the real fission test usually has 97% success rate based on all tests to date (the ones that fail only ever happen because the items from cold test were not set up properly). So if Iran does a cold test successfully and then repeats it properly, then its pretty much a done deal.

I’m thinking maybe the Chinese were part of something and why they were so urgent telling their people to flee by land nobody still knows what china was delivering to the Iranians.
I’m starting to think Chinese are choosing to have a nuclear Iran that will owe them greatly than losing another ally to America or Israel
