Is Saudi not concerned at all about Iranian response to US bases in Saudi ? Before Qatar base, the primary US bases were in Saudi arabia and extensively used in the Iraq war I and II. Is this what the visit of Saudi defense minister to Iran few months ago was really about and not an actual Saudi-Iran thaw ?

Half of Trump Cabinet are against war with Iran and that's why he hasn't done anything yet. Hits on Israel give them more leverage over Israeli government to end the war, allow for diplomacy, and even end the war in Gaza too.

I said this before. This war must not stop. Not at this stage. Any ceasefire agreement, Iran should demand that it be all-encompassing. Meaning a ceasefire and withdrawal in every arena including South Lebanon and Gaza. This is the stategic price Iran should exact on israel for their catastrophic mistake.
Short of that, Iran must be unrelenting and drag this out for as long as it takes.
