URENCO company patented V1 and G1 design gave birth to both Iranian and Pakistani early centrifuges in 80s. Both Countries drifted with their own designs towards WGU/HEU in 1990s. Same can be said about almost any country including Israel, India, DPRK, Apartheid SA, France.

Problem is Iran doesn't have missiles that can reach 4,500 km (Diego Garcia) and they are inaccurate as f-, meaning yet again Ali Khamenei and his common-sense defying approach has cornered Iran into war. Best thing Iran can do now is prepare civilian and military centers for strikes, ensure the protection of nuclear sites, and test that nuclear device and ICBM. Which I doubt they will do, because the Islamic Republic was put in place (via coup) to ensure Iran remains a self-defeating, crippled nation, ripe for the time when great powers can come and rape its people, divide its land, and take its resources.

Iran does not have any tested 4500 KM ranging missile. Max is K-4 which IISS in US calculated to be capable of reaching 3200 KM with 600 KG warhead. Thats a PBV missile for cluster munitions or a nuclear device delivery. 2nd missile in this category is Sejjil-2 which reaches 2500 KM.

Both are as accurate as a bullets. Here is K-4's predecessor scoring a bullseye at bottom right.

I meant if you look at the topography of Diego Garcia, it's a sandbar with a lagoon in it, Iran would need saturate and that is only if it had missiles capable of reaching it and carrying a decent payload. IMO it's strategical and more likely Iran would strike Israel or regional NATO bases.

Agreed. People discussing hitting Diego Garcia seem to forget that US targets are just across borders and within and around Persian Gulf. When persian Gulf Sheikhs opened their buttcheeks for US+NATO to create bases on their soils, they automatically provided targets for IRGC. No need to hit DG when you can sink few USN ships or destroy few bases across Persian Gulf. Purely from Military POV.

I do not know knocking out base and forcing americans to relocate b2 closer to Iran is worth of consideration but as you implied military planners should have calculate is it worth of doing so.

No. Khorramshahr missile(4000/5000 km range with 500 kg warhead) and satellite missiles (Qaem 100 and Qaem 105) have long ranges, but they have not yet been introduced as long-range missiles.
