If you have only been exposed to one narrative your entire life, in media, school, books that says "America and Israel good, Iran bad", then thats what you will believe. Because they have taken active roles in supporting and defending Israeli attacks on it, just like the US. Those countries were all against Iran from the outset of the war with their defence of Israel and condemnation of Iran from day 1. They’ve been led to believe that Western style democracy is a suitable model for our region. But our nations have experimented with it, and it hasn’t produced meaningful results. Culturally and socially, we are fundamentally different from the West. While there’s certainly room for improvement in our current systems, the notion that Western democracy is some flawless blueprint is misleading. it’s largely superficial at this point.
