At least the only good thing is that this is the first time that the Iranian authorities are living in a difficult situation like the rest of the people. It was always the Iranians that paid the price of their stupidity, not they're paying the price too.

The Ayatollahs were never sincere or serious about their war with the Americans or the Zionists. They used it as an excuse to gather the support of the masses, particularly Arabs. The IR always sought legitimacy from the Muslim world, not Iranians. Their whole anti-US/anti-Zionist agenda was for that single purpose.

Meanwhile, their children showered themselves in Western products from the most expensive clothes, furniture, curtains, etc. from Europe to the newest models of Western technology and appliances and Apple products. They freely went abroad and visited the most luxurious places around the world. God knows how much DNA samples they have collected on these people throughout the years.
These people thought as long as they stayed low and did not threaten Europe and the US directly, they would be able to leech off Iranians and establish an Islamic empire only with talking loud about Palestine.

I am heartbroken that this is happening to our country, but I also feel happy that these fools and their lies and falsehood have been exposed.

as far as we are using their hardware, we are defend less , technically we can write secure software (as a software engineered i can say this) but with software alone you cannot guarantee anything, they simply can control hardware ....

anyway, with age of AI and growth of script kiddy who can't write code and are entirely depended on AI for coding, even writing secure software is hard ....

There is no consensus. I have a feeling there is political gridlock and the SNSC doesn't know what to do. I am sure some in IRGC are waiting like pit bulls, ready to be taken off the leash, while reformists and more cooler heads want to stall and negotiate. Nobody really has a long term plan.

They don't have qualified academics and foreign policy experts advising them.

I don't want to sound crazy...but it's not just about cell phones and wifi..etc. if you use a land line they can hack into the land lines servers...because they're digital as well, and you can use software to record and capture voice calls, and even identify voices...this the kind of stuff Snowden warned about. They really need 21st century consultants to help them...if I was king for one day, I'd overhaul the entire security apparatus. They need to build a hardend facility many levels underground with many enternaces/exits. They need a people mover of sorts underground to let high value personnel be ferried in and out without detection. These things are the ABCs of war planning.
While on the subject, I read they will enact road blocks and security check points....my God this is so important and valuable to cut down on operatives moving freely around our cities and defences. We also need cameras set up around the main roads and throughfares to record licence plates and perhaps faces. Lastly all areas around defence bases need to be closed and then monitored for suspicious activity. Anyone remember the video of the ahole racing and then clearly showing the air defence installation in the background? We need to capture these guys before they can strike.

Yes, but they'll need physical access to those servers if they're air-gapped. So, unless their agents on the ground in Iran would do that for them, it's off-limits.

Our national infrastructure should run on a national intranet. This was the initial plan when they talked about "Internet-e Melli". It never materialized and the only part that was materialized was for suppressing people's freedom in Aban 98 and Mahsa Amini protests.

On a side note, I remember a news that was posted on PDF as well that talked about China installing fake BTS towers (IMSI catchers) in major Turkish cities to perform a man in the middle attack and eavesdrop on Uyghur nationals in Turkey. It turns out that old mobile antennas have very weak authentication protocols. So, basically, any new antenna can be registered on the network and it could very well be malicious.

If China can do that, what makes us think that the Americans and Israelis can't do that? If you have enough of these fake BTS stations, you can even accurately track locations of your people of interest.
