Nobody said Windows would be safer, but Linux is definitely not a solution to state-level security. You clearly do not have a clue what you are talking about and it is showing.

Meanwhile, there are protocols, CPU architectures and encryption standards that have been purposefully compromised by the NSA. So, the situation goes way deeper than just software.
