Useless.

Israelis fire ALBMs from hundreds of KM away from your borders directly at your search n track assets. There is no Airdefence on earth that can stop a lofted Apogee separating MaRVed ALBM from hitting its target. Israeli Airforce's ALBM arsenal is as diverse or technically advanced as IRGCAF's missile arsenal. They just keep it very secret. They can literally fire hypersonic MarVed MRBM from their Jets who would be flying under umbrella of American Electronic Jamming aimed at your tracking assets. Good luck stopping this.

In return whatever IRGC fired at them, was tracked from US Early Warning sats and passive sensors present in Persian Gulf and in Iraq. Layered Israeli air defence just had to shoot at the target because US already had searched n tracked it an dtransfered the data to Israelis. Still IRGCs MaRVs kept passing through which is commendible no matter how much I can criticize the armed forces. Its not as easy to fight Israel+US as you might think.

This is good, lets see its outcome. We kept reading strategic deals with Russia and China, but didnt see even 1% result.

Well that shows that they were only positive about the expected outcome.... they didn't expect Iran's resistance, and even less its retaliation..........

This is why nuclear weapons are a necessity for Iran.

Had Iran had nuclear weapons, Iran could cripple Israel in 10 minutes with conventional missiles. All we needed to do was to hit their water desalination plants, of which they had a grand number of 4 or 5 if I'm not mistaken.

their ALBM numbers are limited and they likely flew over at least western region of Iran from even the first days of the war

passive systems like Majid and 358/359 were not used as much as I expected. even Houthis used these systems to hit multiple Saudi fighter jets and downed 20+ US MALE drones while Israeli MALE drones were flying over central Iran ! some eventually downed in the later days of the war but the fact they reached Esfahan and freely flew over missile bases in the West is a total failure by Iran's air defences

I mentioned it as a principle not as a criticism. The guys here are critical enough that promotes further development. I hope the officials are also like that and take enough measures for the next round.

Albms are good but they are good for static assets. If used correctly like Ukraine does aa assets are mobile enough to evade this type of attack. Ukranian assets are moved continiously like every hour or similar so precise location and albm strike planning cannot be made in time by Russia. That is why they cannot enter inside Ukr airspace but still can take out aa assets once in a while generally less mobile systems like patriot are targeted by Russia this way but still many of them are still intact in Ukraine. If Iran moved aa assets continiously before the attack then many if not most of the aa assets would still be intact in the last israeli attack. Albms can target mountain base entrances and airbases though so alternate measures need to be developed like mobile makeshift airbases(Ukraine has them for F16s) or alternate routes outside inside the mountain that is opened by excavators inside in case of emergency.

Agm-88 harm is another threat but Russian active defense assets like Pantsyr work well enough against them. A better way would be a high g capable infrared guided sam(not manpad) in my opinion since harm is a high infrared target because of its engine-speed. It wont overload radar tracking and it is a fire-forget system.

358 sam and optical-infrared tracking is totally passive. It does not emit anything so it cant be detected easily except spy satellite pictures(so they need to be moved around as well not stay at the same place for too long). Pantsyrs rocket can also be copied for mass production it weighs 80kg - 15-20km range and 15km altitude. This is an alternative system that can be made man portable.

It can be coupled with passive scanning radar like below to take out enemy drones-4th gens and even more if the infrared tracker is capable enough. Active emitters like fm antennas can be destroyed but they are unmanned, can be replaced and far from the passive sensors.

Let's just say that history of Russia-Iran relations are not that great.
Besides our centuries of animosity since the 18th century, and the undeniable fact that they have always been our enemy up to the 90s, even after then they have failed to help Iran every time we asked them for help. :)

So, if this "cooperation" does not include military weapons and jet fighters, it's more than useless.

Just as Europe rightly thought Iran would not leave the NPT, IR is so weak, pathetic, and cowardly that the US is confident that it will not strike back against a new assault.

credible reports indicate Russia is currently delivering mig-29 or yak-130 jets

cargo planes are flying from Russia to Iran every few days

so they are sending something. not what we want/need (su-35), but something ...
