Iran is closer to the Gulf than Israel. It doesn't have enough weapons to reach Israel. In such a war, unfortunately hot zone will be the Gulf area and Israel will escape unscathed.

If it creates a war situation between Gulf Arabs and Iran, and has them invested in it, that's when Israel will try pushing Palestinians out of Gaza and exert maximum pressure on Egypt to comply.

There are no signs of any upcoming attack on Iran.

Seems Iran will go nuclear and will withdraw from Palestine arena in the longer term.

Biggest losers are Arab states. If US or Israel were going to ever strike Iran it would have happened long ago. They are going to do the same thing as Obama deal. The whole fiasco might be to make Gulf Arabs feel better about investing hundreds of billions.

This is for internal consumption. No signs on the ground of any impeding military action. No political will either.

It's likely same 2015 deal will be implemented by end of whole negotiations.

Iran would become a nuclear power in the future which is something US must be content with because they otherwise would've attacked Iran long ago if they wanted to prevent a nuclear powered Iran.

If the pre-2004 knowledge has been retained and the key experts are still around (which they probably are other than Fakhrizadeh), it should be a formality to test a warhead within a week or so once a sufficient amount of 90% enriched uranium is ready

Anyway, Iran and the US are going to meet for a new round of negotiation on Sunday in Mascot. The Iranian team say that they have prepared a counter-proposal that is well-balanced and it expects the US to take it.

I think this is possibly the last round of negotiations.
