Those aren't big ships, it's definitely not power projection......3 out of 4 means they want to wipe it out, that also is not about power projection, there is something they want to do, and those frigate is blocking them (at least that is what they think), and it cannot be because Trump said they are going to escort the oil tanker thru Hormuz, first, this is undoable, with the fleet asset in the region, second, you need Destoryer to do that, and you don't clear enemy Frigate out of the way, Frigate is gear more toward Sub than Surface contact.

Dude, if they want maximized death, they would have carpet-bombed Iran, or at least using Cluster Munition. They weren't doing that, and instead they sank 3 frigates? How many people can they kill with 180 frigates, and one of them is in Dry Dock, and I don't even know if the other one (other than Dena) was manned at that point.
Problem is, they weren't using Diego Garcia......The Brits didn't allow them to.
No those were strike eagles. who have a crew of two, Pilot and a Weapons Systems Operator. The Yak-130 is a trainer with no radar and no need for a Weapons system Operator. It has two seats for the trainee Pilot and the Instructor pilot. The yak is used for Close air patrol armed with R-73 IR air to air missiles but it only needs one pilot for that role. You can risk putting a pilot in the backseat but he will only be coming along for the ride and not having anything else to do other than try to spot targets.
