Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Did I miss something?
not sure but probably not. Turkey intercepted another Iranian Missouri recently and moved AD systems to South turkey.many of us are wondering if turkey will strike iran if more Iranian missiles attack targets in turkey.

Some parts of this whole story are plausible. Others are not.

Even if it is true that some tankers are getting through (which I remain very sceptical about), why would tankers bound for Pakistan be permitted to complete their journey? This is sanctioned oil that will be intercepted by NATO zealots. Likewise for any Iranian oil going to any nation that is unwilling to protect those shipments with force.

Hence, if shipments are moving, it seems logical that only PRC is realistically capable of defending its supply chain against NATO aggressively.

Pakistani ships carrying Qatari/Saudi Gas and Oil should not hurt either party here

Photos reveal the damage to the Thai cargo ship "Mayruree Naree," which was attacked while passing through the Strait of Hormuz in Omani waters. Rescue efforts for the 23 crew members are underway, and the fire has now been extinguished.

On 11 Mar 2026 GMT+7, reporters stated that the dry bulk carrier "Mayruree Naree," registered in Thailand and part of the Precious Shipping fleet headquartered in Bangkok, was struck by an unidentified object causing a fire. The ship was about 11 nautical miles off the coast of Oman at the time. The fire has since been put out.

Reports indicate the vessel had 23 crew members onboard. Twenty crew were evacuated immediately, while three remained in the engine room to manage the situation.

Admiral Thadawut Thadpitakkul, Chief of Naval Staff, confirmed the Royal Thai Navy received reports that the Thai commercial ship was fired upon in the Strait of Hormuz within Omani waters. The Navy’s Bahrain military unit used diplomatic channels to coordinate with Oman for assistance in rescuing the entire crew. It was confirmed that all 23 crew members survived.

Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.

According to Bloomberg, the war with Iran ultimately evolved into a conflict with an adversary unlike any the U.S. military has ever faced. When the first cruise missiles began striking targets inside Iran, the operation looked like a typical U.S. military action—a rapid strike delivered with overwhelming force. However, by just the second week, U.S. forces were facing unexpected difficulties.Despite Iran’s relatively small military budget—lower even than the GDP of the U.S. state of Vermont—it possesses a vast arsenal of missiles and drones. Tehran has spent years stockpiling these systems and dispersing them across the country. The U.S. military has had to actively deploy expensive and hard-to-replace interceptor missiles to counter Iran’s attacks.According to the Pentagon, the intensity of the attacks has dropped by more than 80 percent, but Tehran continues to strike military facilities and energy infrastructure across the Middle East on a daily basis. Analysts note that in just the first few days of the war, U.S. allies may have expended more than a thousand “Patriot” PAC-3 interceptor missiles. That’s nearly twice the annual production rate for these missiles.“This is the first war in history where an adversary has such formidable capabilities,” said Kelly Grieco, a senior researcher at the Stimson Center. Experts point out that the conflict has also turned into an arms race. “It’s a race to see whose ammunition supply runs out first: ours or Iran’s,” said Mark Cancian, an analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

During the "tanker war" in the 1980s, America escorted an average of one convoy through the Strait of Hormuz each week."At that pace it would take two and a half years to get all 320 or so vessels currently stranded in the Gulf out of there. Even resuming three-quarters of Hormuz sailings would still prevent nearly 4m b/d of oil from getting to global markets.""Jeff Currie of Carlyle, a private-equity firm, says the cost of a single escort would exceed the value of the cargo it is meant to protect."

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps missile force has begun using the Khorramshahr-4 heavy liquid-fueled medium-range ballistic missile, which weighs 25-30 tons and has a range exceeding 2,000 to 3,000 kilometers. However, what surprised the anti-Iran coalition the most this time was not the use of such missiles, but the fact that some of them were equipped with cluster warheads. Although the displayed submunition models and unexploded warheads are not equipped with aerodynamic control surfaces—only featuring tail fin stabilizers—and the small submunitions show no signs of stabilization or control at all, each separated warhead from the missile can accommodate up to 80 cluster warheads. This number is sufficient to cause significant damage to targets such as runways, oil terminals, or aircraft carrier decks. And whether it succeeds depends entirely on the number of warheads that successfully hit the target. The SM-3 Block IB/IIA and Arrow 3 anti-missile systems, as well as the THAAD system, can intercept the Khorramshahr-4 missile outside the atmosphere before its cluster deployment unfolds. But even if one warhead successfully deploys during its flight toward the target, no Western air defense system—including the Patriot PAC-3 MSE—can intercept its small submunitions traveling at speeds of up to Mach 8.
I have a better idea. Use those cluster munitions as time bombs. They should not explode when hitting the ground. Let the rats come out of bunkers thinking now they are safe ,but then the time bomb on the street explodes. Maximum Zionist terrorists will be killed this way. Or even if they find out later that there are time bombs outside waiting for them they will be forced to stay in the bunker for far longer. That will cause all sorts of economic and mental issues for Israeli society. I bet that way they cannot keep this war running for more than a month.
