They will probably capture the island but the problem is holding it. As long as the regime is in full control they'll take it back. How would the US and Israel respond? Probably sending more troops. This conflict is looking more and more like Vietnam.

In my opinion, Arabs are already in grinder and till the arrival of Mahdi, thousands of them will already be under the soil.

Any ceasefire should include all sanctions lifted, all of them and unconditionally, with payments for the damages they did to Iranians and the families of those killed

Based on the amounts of lies they are spewing out on daily basis, I'm starting to suspect they might as well be publishing AI videos of these strikes, at this point.

The mistake would be American boots on the ground. Unless that happens, there is no quagmire. America should be extremely careful and remember Iraq and Afghan. You destroyed them, but for what? To occupy an insurgency, that's what. Any American boots on Iranian territory be sane as taking Japanese Okinawa island battle in WW2
