Some reports say Syria lost three times the land the size of Gaza to Israel as soon as Assad fell--prized, fertile, strategic land and, yes, it was beyond the Golan Heights. Damascus is even closer to Israel now and also southern Lebanon being flanked from its east as Israel tries to gobble up southern Lebanon up to the Litani River (and just declared so).
There is clearly a pattern of Israeli expansionism into strategic, fertile land. They won't spare Jordan later if they can find fertile land there and nor will spare Egypt. The Lebensraum fantasies in Israel must be crushed before Israel could be accepted in the region otherwise Israel itself should vanish.
