There is absolutely no security risk in Pakistan for these diplomats. There is different level of security for diplomats. Iran has carefully worded to claim sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz along with Oman.
The GCC is not as a monolith as people think. There is a spectrum from the obvious puppet like the UAE to a much more sovereign nation like Saudi Arabia. But all of them live in fear of their own version of some Epstein Files or of the Mossad agents killing them off the leaders or of freezing hundreds of billions of $ of assets by the Americans and their allies. What are their options in case punitive measures are taken against them??!!!

So this is not as easy as some 'corrupt' Arab leaders as most here seem to think. There was a time when the same Arab rulers or their forefathers fought Israel in multiple wars and had also imposed the 1973 war oil embargo.
