They should not parade them as trophies. Just saying they have them, and let the red cross have access is enough ( if they have captured them successfully that is ).

Thanks for the information. So, what can Iran do against C-17, C-130 or similar aircraft that the US may use for logistics in future? Assuming they would fly below the radar coverage.

Missile 358 it is the answer. They´re equipped with EO/TV seeker.
By the way. DIRCM are bulky, in fast aircrafts can´t hold this devices. Just transport aircrafts, tankers and spc ops.
There are some laser guided SAM systems (UK Starstreak) which is by default "unjammable", but AFAIK Irán doesn´t have any SAM missile with such guidance. I am pretty sure they will in the future.
But for today the best it is the Missile 358.

Nobody will step in militarily, I can assure you of that.

They're already in talks with the US and Arab states not to veto the Bahraini proposal to the UN Security Council as we speak.

Iran dont need anyone to step in. If China Pakistan or Russia came in there would be a danger of it becoming regional or even world war. Helping Iran surreptitiously is fine.
