Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

If Israel has indeed destroyed 70% of Irans ability to manufacture steel, then what has Iran destroyed that is 70% of Israel capability?

I would take this number with the same seriousness of their claims on taking out missile launchers.

More likely some level of damage was done to some steel plants.

Iran would by now almost certainly be purely focused on Zionist infrastructure targets if this was true.

I've said similar on here but one us jet out of the 1000 they own gets shot down and Iran is a brilliant combatant.

I've seen very little from Iran that's actually impactful on any military targets. The US bases they attack are basically empty apart from a few contractors, and that's pretty much all they've done. Most the missiles are landing in residential areas or open areas and damage is minimal, of course there will be a lot of injuries from these attacks but that's purely due to shrapnel causing damage.

They fire a dozen missiles on a good day, a few will get intercepted, a few will hit a field, one or two in a residential area and another hits the storage room of a semi abandoned US base.

Meanwhile Israel and the US have destroyed the leadership, lots of military and civilian targets, naval, air force etc.

Somehow Iran is painted as a winner? It's a big fucking nation of 100 million, if this is their show of defense/attack then it's fucking embarrassing, downed possibly a few planes which were asking for it by low flying and fired hundreds of missiles at pretty much nothing.

Closing down the straits isn't a genius move, Egypt has closed the Suez before and this is no different, requires very little manpower and mostly just threats which will stop pretty much anyone.
US modern fighting strategy is not 1990's or 2003 anymore. It's largely deploying aerial firepower. Iran has scored some hits on parked tankers or tankers in the air, other US aircraft across some of these US bases.

You cannot kill US soldiers because nobody knows where they are dispersed across the Middle East.

But yes they don't have a strong offensive conventional capability against US/Israel , but who (in the region) does ? Serious question for you.

Iran is surviving war with the US whom most nations will succumb to rather quickly. US isn't 'on time' like Trump keeps claiming. US is unable to achieve the political objectives it wants. Which is what war is about. Thus they are losing and Iran is winning, for now.

French likely paid Iran to get a ship through strait of Hormuz

Obviously they paid.
And it is very good. Not only revenues from oil also from this toll.
Surprisingly this should be one of the goals of the war. If Islamic Republic can keep this toll working, reconstruction will be easier and some relief to the suffered iranian population. So good luck with this new bussiness.

This rescue operation proved that our coordination on the ground is even worse than we thought. This whole thing took several hours and we couldn't even get there in time!

This actually reminded me of our rescue operation for our president and foreign minister. It took us nearly 2 days to finally find that they were dead with the help of Turkey.

Most importantly, it sets a precedence for other countries to follow. Also de-incentivize NATO countries to join an unnecessary war. Paying toll to Iran will become the new norm.

So it was off the coast and not in central Iran. That's why I believe Israel did something to bring it down.

Iranians couldn't get to the place to capture pilots nor seemed to be able to fire at this aircraft.

This could had easily been downed by a MANPAD

If there is a seize fire tomorrow UAE is f**ked beyond belief. US will withdraw from the region claiming job done. Iran will be left standing and UAE prestige and defence capability left reduced. It's ability to attract capital (even dodgy capital) and tourism will be screwed and no US sugar daddy around.

It may well do a deal with Israel but simple geography shows that can hardly protect it, maybe some Arrows or Iron Dome but that is all.

Saudi and Qatar will not be rushing to UAE's defence as Riyadh and Doha wants Dubais crown and of course both have long wanted to take MBZ down a peg or two for a long time

Hormuz will be Iranian controlled and Iran will extract it's pound of flesh for sure.

UAE most likley biggest loser in all this and they know it
Unless of course they reverse course and accept Iranian dominance in their region...but knowing their thick headed Bedouin mindset, they will double down and go in the wrong direction full gusto.

Dubai was an artificial construct to begin with, just on the weather alone it is an unsustainable living. It was good for all the sleazies around the globe while it lasted. Inshallah it will meet it's demise permanently.

You know, if both sides had the imagination and if iran has one of the pilots alive, this could be used as a very handy way to desculate the situation liek we did with Abhi in 2019.

Both sides save face. Iran looks like the bigger country and humane and Trump touts he got his boy/girl back.
Unlike in 2019, Indians were cowards, and Pakistan didn't want to escalate, this war is nothing like that 2 day conflict.

I think once you stop watch just Fox News you will be really shocked at what has been going on in the real world.
or we could have the mods block this indian larper. 100% its a scumbag indian larping as a White convert.

This war is getting too stressful. I'm starting to think that maybe it's time to take a break. lol

I just hope that a ground invasion of our southern territories will never happen because based on what we saw today, we most likely will never get them back.
