Chinese firms provide images to Iran behind the scenes. Iran doesn’t leak those out of goodwill and OpSEC.

Iran will sometimes releases non sensitive images from Russian and Chinese satellites that are more commercial low resolution of targets it hits. They have been doing that throughout the war and their images have been confirmed by western commercial satellites rather than being fake AI or something.

But Iran absolutely leak Russian or Chinese spy satellite images that can give the U.S. an idea of the capability of those satellites.

That's an important distinction but it's also about combat readiness and communication protocols. Who's in charge of the region where the pilots fell?

Did the Iranian military and IRGC ever prepare for scenarios like this? Even capturing pilot and getting them to populated section of this region would make it way more unlikely US would try to recover them.

And if they still tried, it would require more resources and subject US army to many casualties.
 
Unfortunately this will be a major propaganda victory for Trump. It wont affect the war in the broader sense, but these things do matter.
 
Now trump will go for ground invasion 110% and then I believe it will be a bloodbath for USA

Rescue operation and ground invasion are many different things
