Pakistan has done everything it can. GoP has done excellent job so far balancing relations, we are getting oil out of strait with permission from iran and saudis are giving us deffered payments. Pakistan doesnt need to choose one side or another. If Iranians and isrealis-Americans want to kill each other we should not step in to stop them. Conversely GCC countries are reaping the benefits of secterianism and shitty zionist politics.

That sounds harder than winning almost...... and implies perpetual cost, the ability to absorb this cost, as long as you seek perpetual statemate

You also need some heavyweight backing for this new world, as well as tolerance of disruption from neutral and friendly countries

In first 2 cases, yes, maybe we can talk about betrayals and other moral responsibilities.

In the 3rd case however, I would hope someone like Pakistan can convince Iran to back out in a way that keeps Iran's survival for a better future to come, maybe once US empire completes its natural time.

I'm not saying which ones of these outcomes will happen. I'm just saying that Just, just in case of the 3rd outcome, a deal in works might be better than nothing.

Remember Gaza, morality and principles, etc, unfortunately, unfortunately, do not always matter if there is no way out of a bad situation. Its always better to have some remote way out, even if it feels like a defeat.

Patriotism towards Pakistan? you do realize that this point of 45 day ceasefire is something proposed by either America or someone else not Pakistan right? please tell me you understand or else i have some serious concerns about your mental health. You accepted that your opinion although based of facts, which is subjective but not certain. You don't know that the 45 ceasefire won't held and will not do any benefit for Iran. You completely ignore the part when i say if America wants to put boots on ground they can do without 45 days ceasefire and they just proved it by securing their pilot from middle of Iran.
You are just being emotional while your Country is blown to bits, no one from Pakistan who is hoping for a Ceasefire is doing so because it will get Pakistan something or some brownie points, Iran offer mediation during May conflict, along with many others, its what neighbors and responsible powers do, that is why you are debating on online forums and not in Iranian Govt leading, because your opinion shows childish emotional outbursts but reality on ground are far different.

Like I said, Good luck to Iran when the deadline ends, I still hope a deal is reached with all parties approval and concessions are made from both sides so further bloodshed can be stopped.

Taliban have already proven that this strategy actually works by keeping US / West trapped in Afghanistan for nearly two decades until they just gave up and left that meaningless & very costly war!

This all, including Trump's nonsensical tweets are a grand plan to capture Kharg. US is bombing infra to weaken Iran's response and movement, while bombing Kharg to weaken its defenses. At the same time Iran is throwing as many missiles at US bases as it can in the last week, to halt an invasion of Kharg. Everything is pointing more and more to Kharg.

As for Trump's tweets, Us/Israel could not handle tiny Gaza and Lebanon at israel's borders, after years of bombings. Let alone a huge country like Iran with several large allies and huge logistics option. Trump's nonsense of destroying civilization, etc, etc is nonsense. none of what Trump is saying is acheivable. A usual its a diversion and the ultimate target will be Kharg.

Its to be seen how Iran responds to that act, when it comes to it
