Trump reposts Araghchi’s statement confirming the US and Iran have agreed a 2 week ceasefire and the U.S. has accepted Iran’s 10 point framework to discuss a permanent end to the war

The strange part is that Iran’s points violate American redlines, so it remains to be seen if the U.S. will ultimately agree to such points or if the U.S. is simply fooling Iran again

No, brother, this is old news. Trump has since completely abandoned the idea of accepting the 10 points, claiming it was a CNN fabrication. He's indicated that the only agreement was Iran opening up the straits.

Iran’s 10 point plan includes:

Iranian control over Strait of Hormuz
Right to enrich uranium
NO limits on missile program
Full sanctions relief
Return of all frozen assets

The U.S. could have got this deal ages ago. Iran has not compromised on any of its core demands, it’s just weaker now. But these terms are not agreed and the U.S. has no honour, it cannot be trusted to abide by any agreement.

It’s a shame we didn’t extract a bigger cost from them. And I hope we did not abandon Hezbollah.

I am curious what is the instrument of agreement? Is it just Trump's 'agree' message on his "Truth Social"? Telephone call to PM of Pakistan? My understanding is, an agreement of this mgnitude has to pass through Congress to get legal authority.

I think Pakistan should thank Iran if the deal is finally reached. This war is hurting Pakistan more than Iran since Iran is ready to sacrifice after their leadership is brutally murdered. The petrol already reaching 500 rupees in Pakistan and if the war continues, it may well reach 1000. So it is in our favour that the war must stop.

Pakistan’s biggest achievement in this war is that we were able to keep Arabs away from joining the war and Arabs have been extremely kind to Iran by not responding to Iranian attacks. I read somewhere that about 2000 drones and missiles were fired in Arab region alone out of 7000 by Iran so far and not a single missile was fired back at Iran in response. Thats a lot of patience by the Arabs and unusual to most nations… Arabs accepted economic loss of billions of dollars if not hundreds of billions of dollars and happy to settle with ceasefire if it happens. The ceasefire will help Iran but they are on suicide mission… the Arab world is not…

I disagree…. War hurting Pakistan more than Iran ? The statement is fallacious.. doesn’t matter what Iranian regime thinks.. the damage speaks for itself.. too much boasting and arrogance leads to demise… iran is just reaching there

Those Arabs continuously allowed the U.S. to launch missile attacks against Iran from their territory (Kuwait and UAE) and launched several drones Into Iranian airspace (especially UAE)

Some were more restrained but they all enabled the criminal war against in Iran somehow

The fact is, US and Israel don’t need Arab basis to attack Iran but I was appreciating the patience of Saudi Arabia.

UAE has gradually become pro Israel-India and has a different role than rest of the Arab countries.

The fact is, US and Israel don’t need Arab basis to attack Iran but I was appreciating the patience of Saudi Arabia. UAE has gradually become pro Israel-India and has a different role than rest of the Arab countries.

It is true that Saudi Arabia did not attack us directly

But they allowed the U.S. to use their airspace for vital refuelling operations on a daily basis

Just death to Israel is the moral thing. The colonizer nation needs to pack up and go back to Poland.

Do we know if reparations to Iran are an agreed point in this precarious ceasefire? Hard to believe Iran accepting anything without reparations on the table.

I do not expect any reparations, Iran will have plenty of cash if this truce transform in longer peace
