did anyone understand why the US used two large C-130 planes with hundreds of special forces deep in Iran to rescue one WSO? which conveniently happened to be 40km from Iran's Esfahan nuclear facility where the 60% enriched uranium is believed to be stored?

and how the C-130s used an abandoned runway but also somehow got stuck in mud, despite the C-130s being built to operate on unpaved runways?

They took the wrong C-130 that one didn't have the factory 4x4 option installed. Jokes apart the C-130 isn't all terrain it will get stuck in fine sand and mud particularly after landing. Plenty of recovery attempts of stuck C-130's have been documented here.
