Well, the presence of Pakistani troops and jets in Saudi barbaria will reduce the amount of hits iran lands on , but they can never stop it effectively or completely.

If Trump had not won and Kamala Harris had won in November 2024 then Israel, which was at its knees by late 2024, would be forced by Kamala to behave and thus she was widely feared and hated by the Israelis and their supporters in America. I think that was benefitting the UAE more than Iran. They play a similar role between India and Pakistan where the trade between the two countries is routed via UAE rather than directly. A replacement for the UAE and the services it provides can be found.

Its not just Iranians, we need to treat them accordingly as well. UAE was missing from the list of countries Shahbaz visited. Saudi, Qatar and Türkiye. UAE can of course bring India into the equation, lets see how far that one goes (UAE has become a cesspool full of Indians anyway). I am of the opinion that UAE cannot be brought back into the folds without "structural" changes within the ruling hierarchy. We keep on having these tantrums every few years from the same suspects. Regime change would be ideal.

Iran routing its finance through UAE is symbiotic, that gives benefits to the UAE as well.

I am guessing they’ve mitigated this risk through setting up infrastructure to move their money in different countries as well.

After this war, its only natural Iran views UAE as an adversary but it will be too extreme to burn all the bridges.
