Dude, I have been saying that for years.
When the 2008 UNSC sanctions kicked in, China was the first country to close the bank accounts of Iranian students in its country. Iranian students received a 2-week notice to empty their bank accounts or else they said they would confiscate them. Not just the bank accounts of Iranian businessmen, or the official bank accounts of our central bank or related government entities, but even the accounts of Iranian students studying in China!
Guess what? Before Europe sanctions Iranian students, Russia butted in and published a list of university courses that Iranians were not allowed to participate in. Russia banned Iranian students from studying nuclear engineering and nuclear physics in Russia. They also refused to accept Iranian PhD admissions for topics that could be of dual use for Iran's nuclear and missile program.
Even in this war, Russia and China not only didn't do jack shit for Iran but actively undermined Iran's efforts to increase oil and gas prices to end the war on our terms. China nearly stopped its oil imports and Russia increased its oil output and exports. Thanks to that Zionist bitch Zelensky, Russia couldn't benefit as much as they planned to. Hopefully, Ukraine will hit more Russian energy assets.
People here who talk about Iran moving towards China after this war are delusional. Absolutely foolish, if you ask me. If anything, if Iran has truly won this war as some people claim here, we should settle our differences with the US after this war and pivot towards the US and Europe and leave the Russians and the Chinese to their fate. If we are the true winners of this war, there is no reason for us not to normalize our relations with the US and import high quality American and European goods for the right price, instead of importing Chinese goods with inflated black market prices.
