Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Global economy and global markets were surprisingly resilient the last time around, ok I'm sure a lot of economic pain will unravel in the future, but is the oil supply control thesis turning out to be a bit hyped?

Because it's not as if Iranian capacity is not being hurt as well

Oil market doesn’t care about where oil comes from.

It’s priced on total capacity.

So, if Iranian oil is also hit - just compounds the crisis.

So starve a third country?

Trump and his crew are laughing their heads off that in this war against Iran Arab countries are taking the Iranian rage as a substitute for USA.

You can tread the previous Iranian line of taking out American infrastructure at the pain of disruption and unrest for a few months..... But if you go beyond that line that is just an admission of a losing strategy.
These Arab states are enabling US attacks against Iranian critical infrastructure. The proper and logical response is to show these Arab states that if they do that, they will face the same fate.

better to keep Israel out of this for now until Iran can degrade US bases in the region

Kuwait
Bahrain
Jordan
Qatar
Iraq
UAE
Saudi Arabia

in this order. there is a lot to get through

Iraq before UAE and Saudi Arabia? There is barely any U.S. bases left in Iraq and they are leaving in 8 weeks.

Saudi Arabia needs to #1 on the list. That’s where the AWACs and tankers are flying from to support the Persian Gulf operations. Not all tankers come from Israel/Jordan.

Saudi Arabia has more of a capability to respond, and complicates things with Pakistan.

focus on the smaller countries first.

Iraq still has many assets that Iran has not touched (especially in Baghdad). and it remains the main route for any possible Kurdish incursion (which I don't think is likely at this point, but still).

They aren’t really “third countries”! They are client states.

You really are fretting over whether to hit California or Texas because of their political hue.

It’s all US!

Iran doesn't have to sink US Navy ships if it can deny them port radar and satellite guidance, logistics, resupply, and refuelling.

Iran's military objective is clear: Force US military to leave all regional bases and ports.

we should finish of kuwait and Bahrain then proceed with Qatar and UAE ... if they continue to attack our infrastructure , we should target UAE nuclear site and make it unhabitale .

The enabling happened about 20 years ago once the infrastructure was in place, after that point it was fait accompli that they would be operational maybe one day, this is nothing new.

Now sounds like the Arab states are the number one enemy and Israel is an afterthought.

As if Israel will cry that the vanguard nation of Shia Islam is weakening the vanguard Nations of sunni Islam, because that's not an old trick is it 🙄

This whole logic becomes really weird from Iran, you have an absolutist demand that the gulf Arab States overnight completely overhaul their entire security architecture.... really?

The demand is only that Arabs do not allow the US to use their territory to attack Iran. It is not asking for much. If it is too much, then there will be consequences. That is all.
