I don't get it aswell, Iran is not building a bomb but makes it out to be that they are somehow secretly building it. I understand they want nuclear energy for peaceful purposes but what benefits does Iran get when they're under extreme sanctions and high possibility of invasion, the sanctions are costing billions annually. Is it worth it? The economic cost, inflation etc.

You're missing one key point, The United States and the Europeans are sick and tired of Israel. So they can spin whatever they want, nobody wants to go to war for Israel, not anymore . Israel has simply overplayed their hand, The victimhood ploy no longer works in Western medias.

Not sure about that. Israel is the military outpost of the Usa, loosing Israel is loosing power in the middleeast, they will defend it. But to go for a long war will be difficult at the moment. However extreme sanctions, destroying Iranian military and economy will cause civil unrest and the western world believes after so many years the Iranian will themselves want a change. It worked in Syria, after a decades it was all too much. Iran is part of SCO and BRICS, the East needs to take a stance.

To me , it appears that a back door deal has been made with Trump admin to at least give the illusion that no enrichment at the present moment. I wonder what concessions IR received. Half their battle is in the papers and the minds of people in the world...how many of us grew up being bombarded by the news of how invincible they are? The 6 day war, the Bakkah Valley battle, the Yom Kappur war, the Suez canal battle.... etc
It was Iran's training of Hezbollah that tore down that facade.....in 2006. The world saw them bleeding, and confused, by the hands of ragtag volunteer army. And now again with the Gaza war we saw their TikTok dancing army. Nothing impressive about them...except their subterfuge and control of the narrative. Then during the 12 day war we exposed them again as being a matchstick army without the US's help. They're really nothing impressive...in contrast look at us, under 40 yrs of sanctions, sabotage and they don't dare take us on, one on one....they need the entire NATO to help them.

The match stick army has a potent air force which killed Salami, Bagheri and our bright son Hajijadeh. So let's be honest in our assessment and not underestimate like our generals did and paid for with their lives. We must be prepared.

And preparation always means overestimating, taking all things into account and preemptively think from the worst case scenario. You ppl make me laugh.
