Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

is it official ? how many jets of us airforce are in the middle east if operation starts?
They can fly directly from the US like they did last time.

Last time everyone was holding Donald Trump back and asking him not to attack Iran, so he only launched a symbolic attack on Iran.

This time, no one is holding Donald Trump back as he's acting all nuts with the kidnapping of the Venezuelan President.

The deal seems to be, Russia gets to keep Ukraine, China gets Taiwan and the US gets Venezuela/Iran. All three big powers are happy.

Top US officials and committees are retweeting Trump. That is NOT good news for the Iranian regime

Would a war with Iran push oil prices high enough to make US. oil drilling in Venezuela attractive and prompt American companies to go in?

They can't repair all that old infrastructure overnight. It would not assuage a short term shock.

Also why would oil companies want lower prices?

Who said anything about wanting lower prices? American companies are not going into Venezuela now because it’s not profitable. This makes Trump look like an idiot. That’s why I ask if a war with Iran would spike oil prices high enough for it to become profitable for American companies to go into Venezuela.

He's not going to do jack.
Cht man I wish I had your confidence but I and rest of us yanks are starting to understand when Orange man says he's gonna do something that he can do without congress he will. Now it may not be soon but I could be wrong.

I don't think I understand your point then. Shale extraction becomes unprofitable when oil prices are low. High prices are beneficial for them so it doesn't make sense for them to invest into refurbishing Venezuelan oil infrastructure to bring down oil prices. That's why they're already reluctant to invest in Venezuela at Trump's behest.
