Average prices EU:
1 coffee in EU costs 2,50 usd
1 cigar (I dont smoke) in EU costs 9 usd
1 liter of fuel 1,75 usd

Cost of living is 70% cheaper in Iran compared to EU average.

Earning 200 USD a month in Iran equals 667 USD a month in EU.
you are dirt poor and below social welfare check for EU, it is still bad.

Iran is in this position because it is run by fools. Iranian leaders have been running their mouth nonstop about their capabilities and how they will destroy Israel. Isn’t it better to stop talking shit and instead focus on developing? Stop provoking and antagonizing your enemies.

Iran put all their cards into their axis of resistance instead of building up their military getting proper fighter aircraft and enough advanced air defense systems. It thought its missile capabilities was enough to deter its enemies while having nothing to confront Israeli F35.

Iran was constantly reactive instead of taking the initiative and holding the escalation ladder. It had the axis of resistance and failed to even use them. It just let them get picked off one by one. It showed that Iran was weak and did not want a conflict.

Iran should’ve from the beginning tried to repair relations with the U.S. and build its economy and military. It should have compromised because it is evidently clear it did not want to engage in a war.

They got involved in Syria, Yemen, etc and only hurt their relations with their neighbors. They should have just focused on developing their country and providing a good life for their people instead of engaging in conflicts and putting a bullseye on themselves.

Edit:

China is many times stronger than Iran yet doesn’t behave in this way. You have to play the geopolitical game. It has its own issues with Taiwan but it doesn’t provoke others against it.
in essence, they should not export their revolution and respect historical boundaries and arab street sentiments.

So, If Kharg is attacked Iran will do nothing?

what are realistic options for retaliation

I dont say it is good, Iran has been the most sanctioned country. Still combined with the the HDI index, it is not terrible.
i would say it is remarkable given in how much mess you are involved and as people have internet they compare and usually conclude wrong as they do not care to the general picture, they just want good and life with certain perspectives, it is something that remains to be solved by you and your compatriots.

Attacking Iranian oil facilities suits their objective. It deprives America's greatest rival China of Iranian oil and places financial pressure on the Iranian government that sanctions cannot. Short of a full blockade and embargo (unlikely).
You may be correct, but only conditionally. If the USA does not want direct regime change and only aims to encourage protests in Iran due to the poor economy, then this approach makes sense. However, based on U.S. history, they have consistently tried to avoid striking oil fields. This is not accidental—oil infrastructure is usually preserved so it can be an immediate strategic and economic asset rather than being destroyed.

As always the Pakistani bros think US is Thor or Iron Man....do you think they ever sit around the table and discuss what iran can do to them? Have you thought about the possibility of the trillions of dollars of oil and gas price shock that they will have to endure just to take out an non-threat state? We are not a threat to the united states.... We are a threat to israel. At some point the US we'll ask itself, is it worth it?

Similarly to how Iranian members get over emotional. I did make it clear Iran will cause big damage to Israel, but I cannot ignore the military realities which face Iran, and also how Usa Israel plan to finish Iranian capabilities to hurt Israel within a few weeks. If they can do that then what means does Iran have to strike Israel?

That's a two way street. Expecting just one party to mind their own business while everyone else meddles in everybody else's business is not feasible.

It is clear that an attack is imminent.
Western media are widely spreading the false claim that the Iranian government massacred 12,000 civilians, reporting that invading Iran is the only way to stop the massacre.
The effect of such propaganda diminishes over time as citizens grow weary or realize the truth.
That is why propaganda is deployed immediately before an invasion.
If this continues, Iran will once again be caught completely unprepared for a surprise attack, and its government officials and generals will likely be slaughtered.
Because they foolishly continue to venture out into the streets.

Going by history of IRGC attacking US bases (2 times), Israel (3 times), Saudi oil facilities (once), couple of other countries in region (4-5 times) with a total of 1400-1500 BMs in last 10 years ... one can make a good guess. This time IRGC has a bigger economic and political motive too as some scholars are saying.
