Rich natural resources such as oil and no sanctions play a big role in that. Iran could’ve been the most developed and one of the richest countries in the Middle East if it didn’t go against Western hegemony.

If I am Iran, I will treat any Trump attack on Iran as a Full-Scale War and retaliate with the aim to kill tens of thousands of US troops, sink Aircraft Carriers, and wage war like as if the end of the world. Trump has already attacked Iran twice already, killing Soleimani and then the B-2 bomber attack on Fordow last year.

Let the Third Time be their Hell ON EARTH, and wipe all of the American soldiers in CENTCOM out. All of them.

Lessons i concluded to be learnt from this situation for future if i am iranian leadership:
1. Continue to arm yourself endlessly with adding nuclear option,
2. Continue dedollarisation trade and start making barter arrangements with neighbors countries in order to add flexibility to the economy and being more resilient.
3. Ditch India completely, that will give you more goodwill with China.
4. Burn illusions about any reconcillacion with west they are completely enslaved and asks to much for having any relations with them.
5. introduce more technocrats in daily life operations and economy planners.
7. Expect that you will be attacked anyway.
