Seems Orange 🍊 pulled the plug personally last night at the last minute:

This coincides with reports where Trump stated he was personally contacted by a very high level source from Iran who said "Killings have stopped".

Please also note window of deployment and the timing of the closure of Tehran FIR y.day.

*****
Edit: also there seems to be a typo there (It shouldn't read "return to the chalks" - it should read "return to the chocks"). Which makes me sus and wonder 🤔.

Carrier strike group still on its way. Don't forget we thought strikes in Iran were becoming less and less until they struck.

I wouldn't have guessed it. But thanks for the heads up on the report button.

Lessons i concluded to be learnt from this situation for future if i am iranian leadership:
1. Continue to arm yourself endlessly with adding nuclear option,
2. Continue dedollarisation trade and start making barter arrangements with neighbors countries in order to add flexibility to the economy and being more resilient.
3. Ditch India completely, that will give you more goodwill with China.
4. Burn illusions about any reconcillacion with west they are completely enslaved and asks to much for having any relations with them.
5. introduce more technocrats in daily life operations and economy planners.
7. Expect that you will be attacked anyway.

Why does everyone fall for this so easily?
Trump always uses the tactic of lulling people into complacency to launch surprise attacks.
Why are people in the Middle East so naive, so easily manipulated by Western Machiavellianism?

Iran is being stretched left right and center, by numerous nations.

Could Iran move closer to Pakistan? Wouldn't that also bring advantages to Iran?

I am astonished by the Middle Eastern people's lack of understanding of the salami tactic.
They launch attacks just strong enough to make the enemy hesitate to wage full-scale war, then immediately cease fire, aiming to create a fait accompli.
This is a standard tactic used by Western countries when invading.
Iran fell into this trap. Even after Soleimani was assassinated, even after Haniyeh was assassinated, even after all its nuclear facilities were destroyed, it did not retaliate.
As a result, large-scale bombing across the entire country is imminent.
If Iran flees again without retaliating this time, it will surely become like Syria or Lebanon.
Israel and the US will then be free to fly over Iran anytime, dropping bombs wherever they please.
The people of the Middle East are far too ignorant of Western diplomatic strategy.
I repeat, you must never agree to a ceasefire.
It will turn your country into a hell like Libya, Syria, or Gaza.
I agree. What Iran lacks is aggressiveness; on this point, the political and military leadership has failed to re-establish deterrence because of this lack of aggressiveness. It's one of the greatest principles of war.

Once this is over, I will pull my old posts here which have so far been 100% correct. For Israel it was all about IRI's military capability that they got exposed against in 12 day war, aura of untouchable invincibility that they established against Arabs in last 70-80 years got thrashed by sanctions crippled IRGCASF. All that mad dog doctrine did not work against Mullahs. Tit for tats on their oil field, ports, hospitals, strategic institutions showed that they also bleed like rest. They want this gone as per reports of last nights communication between white house and Israel. That was their entire motive. Wont happen.

For US deep state its all about IRI-PRC-Russian plan to replace petro-USD with petro-Yuan, something that BRICS as whole was predicted to achieve is being achieved by these three alone using Iranian oil and spread of Yuan/RMB in return. This is 10x the danger for west than USSR or Nazi Germany ever was. Clowns like Reza Pahlavi or others are just created to be parachuted into power so they somehow bring 8 trillion USD worth Iranian oil into western market against USD instead of Yuan that it currently is flowing at 5.5 MBPD against 125-150 Billion USD worth Yuan a year. Its just a fraction of what the real reserves are. They may need investment yes but revenues are big and are accumulating. The economic grievance is artifically created by reformists. It happened before in Rohani era as well, people forget when out of nowhere currency fell to ground. Literally in 2025 exports worth exceeding 100 Billion USD from oil alone reached pockets of Reformist government, where is it? It seems like IRGC, Reformists, Even some apparent conservatives led by Larijani all want Mullahs gones. Russia, China, IRI cant be tackled militarily, alone or in group hence west comes with these non kinetic tactics like protests or internal political problems. Khamenei will go one way or other, he is 87, Iran will turn into a secular non Islamic society on its own over time but IRI will sustain as a military run technocracy on petro economy. It has become too important in global politics that now it cant be just left alone. 10 years of such Yuan spread fueled by Iranian oil will result in significant portion of world equating Yuan's importance to USD and EU. To preserve this plan, IRGC has 1 million strong military and 3000 Missiles and apparently 40 Billion USD defence budget but some low IQs here thought the force will bundle up like non-nation state Syria which was being run on Food stamps from Russia and Iran.
