Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Like we all know. Israel, due to Epstein files, is Trumps master. And when Israel told him to hold off on strikes, he did. When Israel tells him to attack, he will.

The war is coming.

Well all media is saying .... we can bring the destruction then what is the alternate plan ? ..... no one has answer. Plus, West-Israel now feeling the increasing discomfort among Arabs and Turks. The curse of silence of Gaza innocent children is in the air ... it is invisible but its coming and coming very hard....karma is bitach...

Trump was advised of the daunting prospects of regime change, The Wall Street Journal reported, even after repeatedly saying the U.S. would support what some labeled a new Iranian revolution. Now critics fear for the future of protesters who had been emboldened by Trump’s call to action.

“He put American credibility on the line,” said Suzanne Maloney, an Iran expert and vice president for foreign policy at the Brookings Institution think tank in Washington. “There will be, and already has been, a sense of betrayal and backlash from Iranians that will last well beyond the life of this presidency.”

“Iran brought down the iron fist with speed and ferocity we haven’t seen before,” said Ali Vaez, Iran project director at the International Crisis Group. The regime may have had a “perverse incentive” to quash the movement even more quickly and brutally before the U.S. was prepared to bomb Iran, he said.

Iranian diplomats during the week tried to persuade the U.S. not to strike their country, and to resume nuclear talks instead. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reached out hoping to set up a meeting with U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff in the Swiss resort of Davos before the start of next week’s World Economic Forum, Arab and European officials said. The meeting was never finalized.

On Tuesday, Trump was scheduled to meet with top officials including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs Chair Gen. Dan Caine, to review some plans, but he skipped the session and detailed his thoughts once more on social media.

On Tuesday evening, Trump was leaning toward ordering an attack and directed the Pentagon to prepare for a strike on Iran, the U.S. officials said. U.S. military officials went to bed that night expecting the president to give the final order for an attack the next day. Early Wednesday, the U.S. military evacuated some personnel from Al Udeid air base, in Qatar, home to U.S. aircraft and the major U.S. air war command center in the region.

But Trump was hearing alternate points of view. The U.S. couldn’t be sure of toppling the regime with a quick flurry of airstrikes alone, the U.S. officials said, and it was unclear that bombing Iranian military and civilian sites would help the uprising and weaken the government. The U.S. also didn’t have the requisite military assets in the region to both launch a large and sustained attack that could put the regime on its heels and protect American forces and allies in the Middle East, aides told the president.

Officials in Israel and Arab countries also told Washington the time wasn’t right for a strike, U.S. officials said. The situation in Iran was too volatile, the Middle Eastern leaders said, and the protests had already been largely subdued by the regime’s heavy-handed crackdown. Plus, it was unclear who would lead the opposition if somehow Tehran’s government crumbled under U.S. air power.

Iran’s national security adviser Ali Larijani and other officials lobbied regional nations, including Gulf monarchies, Iraq and Turkey, to pressure Trump to stand down on Wednesday, according to Arab officials. In a string of “bullet points,” the Iranian officials said Persian Gulf nations such as Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia would face retaliation on the American bases they host if Iran was attacked, the Arab officials said.

WSJ article.

Iran will be more sensible than this I imagine.

A message can be delivered to Trump, along the lines of his misadventures will have too great an ECONOMIC cost implication for USA, without any need for rash manoeuvres as you are suggesting.

There are ways to manage escalation ladders without panicking and "firing all missiles!".

Nobody wants Iran becoming a another Afghanistan.
Absolutely correct.....sinking or even attacking the carrier will result in a war...but making mischief with UAE and Bahrain for example carries little cost, it will lead to a spike in oil and gas prices....the Achilles heel of USA is not a few dozen dead soldiers, it's the cost of oil......also, the whole world now knows that the new US is a war tribe.... The old benevolent superpower, is no more.

The Die was Cast when Israel's northern fronts (Lebanon and Syria) folded in early 2025. At that point, not only the Gaza war was lost but also the half century plan by the Israelis to totally neutralize Iran finally became within reach.
As long as Trump is the President, Netanyahu will not stop trying to finally take care of his Iran Problem.
Truth......also, they pulled their cards together when it came to the US administration...Biden and Trump, they've had both rolled up before the clowns even took office...Blinken, Sullivan, Austin in Biden's cabinet, and Rubio, Hegseth, Miller, Radcliffe, Waltz in Trump's....were all AIPAC picks for the cabinet.

Excactly. If the issue was the nuclear program or BM program, Trump wouldnt have left it. The biggest opposer to JCPOA was inf fact Netanyahu. They dont care about BMs, they dont care about the nuclear program. They are setting up the ME for greater israel and Iran is the only country standing in their way.
You're getting it.....it was never about nukes, it's alwaya been about domination.

It is looking likely there will be an attack.

The best way to limit this attack would be for Iran to inflict serious damage within the first few days to US and Israeli forces. It's a small window of opportunity, if its not used properly they will be more brazen and destructive. Trumpy hasn't got the stomach for a protracted conflict so big damage at the start can startle them and create internal divisions.

Iranian leaders can't put their head in the sand and think strategic restraint is a workable strategy.

One of the best outcome would be IRGC taking over Iran, putting the clerics in Iranian-made Gulag, removing the religion from the constitution and focus on national interests, put nationalists in charge of Iran, cut the Arab cucks fundings and focus everything on Iranian interests, develop ties with Pakistan, Türkiye and China

That is as disconnected a rant as anything out there...

It is perhaps a willful disbelief that Iran is on a chopping block. And any and all vectors are useful conduits. That is the new reality of Mideast... Iran, Turkiye, Syria, Jordan, Saudia, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Sudan and finally Pakistan!

Yeah took but took 14 years and created 6 million refugees.
Right....No one in the West benefited from Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya being turned into failed states..think about the money spent there by NATO and the US.. Think about how much oil was removed from the system between syria, libya and Iraq, during that time. This makes the few remaining cartel even more powerful, and oil prices even higher....Europe is the one that paid for this in terms high energy costs and refugees. The US doesn't export or import in any meaningful amount to give a hoot. The only country that benefited was Israel. However,.Israel and the US had help, maybe not overtly but tacit approval of the GCC. This whole clusterfuck can be rolled up and hung around the neck of UAE, SA, Qatar and Bahrain..... These are the real villains in this tragedy, they let this happen....Approximately two million muslims are dead... Approximately three times that are homeless and refugees. Let's not even blame the West... First we blame the corrupt bastards who empowered the West to be able to kill and destroy their Muslim brethren.

Honestly by now who knows but if trump attempts to overthrow Iranian government it’s not going to go down that easy they flinched because the threat of retaliation was real they thought they were going to have a Venezuela situation looks like everyone said from Israel to American intelligence they will retaliate and it won’t be a small coordinated attack like at Qatar.

I matter what happens if war does come and it’s not just some symbolic attack Iran will hit back at oil and military facilities all around the Middle East if they’re going down they’re taking everyone down with them Israel won’t come unscathed targets that were avoided won’t be this time civilian or Israel’s own nuclear sites guess what Israel hits Irans civilian infrastructure again will actually help Iran out the while we will rescue you our brothers but doesn’t really work with their destroy everything as retribution

These US clowns try to put psychological pressure on Iran like if Iran is a 15 years old boy and a coward who is afraid to fight.

But in reality US fears consequences of a full-scale war with Iran.

Look at Yemen - US bombed Houthis for 3 months using F-18 and B-2 and failed - Houthis still attack ships in Bab-el-Mandeb and launch missiles at Israel.

These dumb Americans never learn...

There is a good argument against armed intervention for Trump that is in play now.

Bombing alone is not going to lead to regime change, they need boots on the ground or at least armed rebellion, they have neither.

Even if they succeed to effect a regime change, they risk deposing the incompetent Mullahs and replace it with far more competent military dictatorship with a IRGC take over.

Any regime change must involve armed force. While there are indeed a lot of western leaning liberals in Iran, those western cucks does not have access to organized armed force but the hardliners faction does.
