Situation does not look good.
What is the point of these smaller deployments if they have USS Abraham CVN72 being repositioned? is this some sort of tripwire force for the iranians to retaliate against?
that is all correctThe Great Orange Ape has been in office for but one year. Iran's "Death to America" policy has been in place for nearly half a century across all administrations since the Islamic Revolution.
I respect the determination of the Iranian people to chart their own nation's course as they see fit. However, recent events have clearly showed that even such a proud people are not immune to sustained economic pressures.
Hence, it may be time to reconsider any policies that have an economic cost that is becoming increasingly unbearable.
And I say this as a friend, not an enemy.
Usual zionist diarrhea on X. They would have done it during 12 days war if they could, they tried and failed.
Iran is not underestimating, it's facing NATO fire and intelligence power, same for Hezbollah and Houthis.People said the same thing about Hezbollah during the war when they were dominating the North and forcing mass evacuations. Then the Pager attack, systematic assassination of HZ leadership happen. Then Nasrallah was killed. Then his successor was killed before he could even be in the role a week.
I wouldn’t underestimate US/Israel. They feel they have Iran on the ropes.
I wouldn’t trust that there aren’t spies in his inner circle. These same spies had planted bombs in the bunker where Iranian generals met to discuss responding to 12 day war.
Time and time again Iran has underestimated Israel and its let to assassinations and massive sabotage attacks.
did anyone really think Nasrallah was safe forever? it was an open secret that he lived in a bunker in Dahiyeh. Israel can track Iranian diplomats and IRGC members going to meet him quite easilyPeople said the same thing about Hezbollah during the war when they were dominating the North and forcing mass evacuations. that is all correct
the problem is the US is after surrender terms, not a fair deal

Yes, its not a secret that they failed to find and kill Khamenei, I'm not believing the propaganda saying that Israel/US had "mercy and pity of him so they didn't kill him even they knew where he was". Never Israel/US did show mercy in their existencedid anyone really think Nasrallah was safe forever? it was an open secret that he lived in a bunker in Dahiyeh. and Lebanon cannot build a massive deep bunker in Beirut without anyone spotting it, so it was always going to be vulnerable
that Nazi Israel Katz admitted on Israeli TV after the war that they tried to kill Khamenei but couldn't find him. after the Soroka hospital strike Israel said Khamenei cannot be allowed to continue to exist, so we can be sure they tried their best to find and kill him in the final days of the war.
he probably cut off contact with everyone except 1-2 trusted advisors and then moved between safe houses or underground tunnel networks
but sure, nobody should underestimate Israel and the US, just because Israel couldn't kill him in June last year does not mean the US (or even Israel, which learns quickly) cannot kill him in 2026
generals need to be meeting people and making decisionsYes, its not a secret that they failed to find and kill Khamenei, I'm not believing the propaganda saying that Israel/US had "mercy and pity of him so they didn't kill him even they knew where he was". Khamenei protection was top notch during the war, resisting the biggest intelligence agencies in history
Why can't our generals and other critical figures have a protection like Khamenei did during the war?
there are maximalist demands and there are impossible demandsInternational geopolitics is never about being fair, since it is always about serving respective national interests by all countries concerned, relentlessly.
Concepts such as Right and Wrong, Fair and Unfair, Good and Bad, all belong in the personal domain.
USA can want whatever it wants, but Iran does not have to agree with any of it. The wisdom lies in getting as much as is possible while giving away as little as possible, and this applies equally to both sides.
