So, the US Navy wargamed, identified deficiencies, and amended them, two years ago...Back then the US Navy wargamed a war against Iran in which US forces lost badly. "Red" forces (modeled on Iran) commanded by retired Marine Lt. Gen. Paul Van Riper defeated "Blue" forces (U.S.) in days. Using asymmetric, low-tech tactics, Van Riper sunk 16 ships, causing, if real, 20,000+ casualties. At that time, Van Riper did not play the wargame with Iranian Hypersonic ASBMs at his disposal... Imagine now!
Let's say Iran somehow still inflicts 20,000 casualties on the US, then what?
