US has two separate objectives from Iranian submission.
1. Make zion the sole power in the region with monopoly over violence.
2. Control the flow of oil and resources to both China and Europe.

For the first they've systematically dismantled states on the periphery of zion with the acquiescence of gulf Arabs. And as we have seen once that objective has been accomplished they have moved on to the greater MENA region in order to break it up in bite size pieces. End goal... all economic roads lead to zion and it becomes the sole guarantor of peace on whatever ruins are left. Which means Iran and later Turkiye are on the menu regardless of tributes offered.

To control both EU and China... the resources must be curbed... US wants to not only sell oil directly now to both markets it wants the competition taken out! For China a head on collision is highly unlikely, however, China can be choked and its trajectory checked... as a longer-term project.

Unless there is credibility in the so-called 'Spheres of Influence' theory, to which even China's Victor Gao seems to believe in, strangulation of China is a desired path by the American superpower. China should be extremely careful about its energy supplies and seems like they are working really hard to invest in alternative source of energy but they might still have an over-reliance on Russia, a country which would turn on a dime if thrown some bones by the Americans over Ukraine. The alternative source of energy for China have some time to be truly viable and so losing countries like Venezuela, Iran, and even Russia is going to bear some cost to China.
