In case of Iran, if Iran launches a pre-emptive strike then the narrative would be like 'We were negotiating in good faith and they attacked us'. I don't think the Americans really want to attack but it is not beyond Netanyahu to force America's hands by engineering a 'preemptive strike'. I have repeatedly said that as long as Netanyahu is the PM of Israel combined with Trump is the POTUS, the clouds of war over Iran are not going away. So we have nearly three years ahead to worry about. Three years!!
